Okay. Maybe I have to pull more of my lip out so there's no interference. I heard some people pop them in and push them up with their tongue. I tried that out of desperation. It actually worked the first time. The next time it got too wet and pretty much exploded. And I tried the prismaster, but that's way too much snus for me, even with the plunger turned around. It's more than a regular portion, right? Because it seems almost twice as big.

I'll pack it up nice, but when I put it in it'll catch on my lip or something and break in half or worse, crumble. It's Ettan and it's pretty fresh, it hasn't dried out or anything. How do I stick it in?!?!?! (haha, I know)
I just lead in with the back of outside finger that is holding the pris- using it to push the lip out of the way as I go. Also, I begin with my finger about midway on the back of the mouth- where top and bottom lips meet when the mouth is open (not right where I am putting the pris). This makes it easier to catch the lip and slide up into place while keeping the lip out of the way.

I have no idea if this makes any sense but I hope it will help.

No mudslides yet handbaking and I had one in last night for about 90 min, so I think I'm just gonna stick to hand baking. I only use los at home anyway, and it takes me less time to hand bake than to use the prismaster.

        Thanks for the troubleshooting though.
The only other thing that I can think of is that maybe the pris is too big. You might try down sizing it. That said, and truth be told, I neither bake or use a tool. Just too big a pain in the ass. Once my upper lip got used to having a pris in I just went to the ol pinch and toss it right in method. No mudslide, no mess. But I don't recommend someone trying this right at first.

I shape a barrell shaped prilla and lay it on my index finger and push it up in place. The whole length of the prilla is supported by my finger so it doesn't break.

Nearly everyone uses their hands. My new Swedish colleague bakes a pris in about 20 seconds. He flips open his Ettan with one hand and slides the lid under the can, grabs a pinch with the other hand and bakes a pris using both hands (mostly just his index fingers and thumbs- similar to the way Zero shapes the pris towards the end of his video) while the can is still open, closes the lid again by sliding it out and onto the can and voila he's done. Freaking impressive.

Biggest difference I guess is that he rarely bakes a monster pris. More like a one click Icetool pris which probably makes it a lot easier (or at least he makes it look easy)

I need some more los for further testing, but it seemed to me the tongue thing started working better with practice.

Not saying that's the way, though, just that it might be one way.
