Wish me luck on my first Los experience

I received my shipment of two rolls of los yesterday and my General IceTool. I got 10 cans each of Ettan and Göteborgs Prima Fint so I am excited. Hope I like them. I didn't get a chance to try them yesterday because of a family situation so will be "los"ing today while watching football.

      Good Luck!

I would recommend reading SnusDog's dippers guide to snus:
      http://www.snuson.com/viewtopic.php?t=4014

Like he says, you might not be able to really taste Ettan and Prima at first. They are not flavored like Discreet.

Make sure you give it some time (at least a few weeks) before you decide whether or not you like your choices.

You bought 2 rolls and you haven't even tried los yet????

Wow, you like wasting money so much, I can always use more snus.

Good luck, I hope you do like it. But no guarantee. I have twice made attempts to like los. But I just don't...<yet> Portions are just SO much better for ME. Better taste, and I just don't like the feel of a bunch of tobacco in my mouth that I can't really play with, change positions with, etc. Just me, but I am not the only one here who feels the same.

So go for it. But know that los isn't for everyone. Don't feel like there is something wrong with you if you just don't really take to it.

I'm still rather noobish, esp with los, though I have gone through a few cans. I like portions better, but alot of it, beside the convenience, is it seems often hard to get a comfortable pris, that lasts. Many things I do like about los, I like the taste, smell, texture, it's almost edible. But from my experience, it's just hard to get it comfortable. It does tend to stain the top of the teeth too, but that's not a big issue to me. I just used my Prismaster and did some los now. It's not bad, this one seems fairly comfortable. The above applies with this one. You also can't mess with it like you can a portion. You pretty much have to leave it alone, or it can break all up.

i could stand los, but it wasn't a "favorite" until i got my icetool. now my los collection went from like 3 or 4 cans to almost 15. the icetool makes it much more enjoyable, and easy.

Not necessarily Chad. Remember, I too got an Icetool for my last attempt. And yes, WAY better than a prismaster.

But I still didn't like the actual experience of using los much, still didn't think the flavor was near as good as portions, still didn't like that I had this *thing* in my mouth I couldn't move around.

So yes, if you like los, the Icetool is a must have IMHO. But if you don't much like los, the Icetool won't help

And justintempler, I love your math. reminds me when I was younger. Of course, may be why I owe Citibank $40,000.

If I didn't already have 70+ cans in my freezer I would have gone for that deal too. I'm 53 and debt free so I must be doing something right 8)

I had 70+ cans in the freezer and still went for that deal. And I already had 3 IceTools

PMD worst case it will be very easy to trade or sell the ettan and IceTool if you don't like it. Prima might be harder to offload, but I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard.

                            Sage,
I am like you in that the portions are just easier to do but the deal was just too good to pass up. By everyone's high recommendation on how the Icetool made the los experience better, I wanted to go with the best to give it a fair test.

I would have love to have split the flavors up like someone had mentioned but the total cost would have been about 30 dollars higher. Just didn't have the cash at the time. Still haven't had the chance to try but am going to shortly. Will post when I do.

What makes an Icetool pris any different than a homemade syringe thingy pris? Seems the size and concept is the same?
