New Onico – risk of dental caries essentially eliminated...

Pretty good of them to handle the dental bills. If that was RJR, they'd deny the problem to the end, and it would takes years of court cases to sort it out. It's the smart thing really, but it seems like doing the smart thing is a scarce reaction in corporate diplomacy.

Funny you should mention that. I /also/ have Jakobsson's nicotine free Classic in my fridge, and it tastes distinctly of carrots :^D I guess a little more accurately, is it tastes kind of like carrot cake. It's pretty good, but the buzz sucks :^D
Now stop. You're making me want carrot cake ;^)

Carrot cake snus, holy cow, I may actually have to try that.

The only use I have for Nicotine/Tobacco Free Snus is the containers so I can camouflage my regular snus in places that prohibit tobacco products.

The problem is the labels need to be in English

Ah. I always fly Southwest when I fly. Which is almost never. I like road trips, something about driving - I feel like when I fly, I miss alot. That and all these plane crashes the last 10 years have scared the #$@! outta me.

Just for your info there are an annual average of 67 people killed every year from lightning bolts. This is a small number compared to U.S. motor vehicle accidents which has averaged 45,600 a year for the last 20 years. In comparison tornadoes cause an average of 65 deaths each year in the U.S. There are an average of 4,000 deaths each year in the U.S. from fires. The average fatalities from airline accidents in the world has averaged 714 a year for the last 20 years. If you take into account that more than 80% of these deaths were international and not domestic, then you would have an average 142 deaths in the U.S. each year from airline accidents. You should also consider that the majority of airline accidents are military with all the numbers from the world statistics. With 912,000 U.S. auto fatalities from the last 20 years you can easily see that you are far more likley to have a fatal auto accident than an airline accident. In fact you are more likley to die in a fire. Or perhaps nearly the same odds as getting killed by a tornado or a lightning bolt. This information can be found in the World Almanac.

Notice how it goes from giving "death" statistics, to "accident" statistics.

I'd rather be a death statistic than use onico

I'll consider Onico over death if it doesn't mean *only* Onico. Then I might have to think it over.

Like someone else pointed out, that name really does somehow scream "Onion". Yuk.

Heh. To me it screams "Look at me! I'm snus with my balls cut off!"

It's gonna take more than a pretty tin for me to use that stuff...

                            A little about Onico:

                            ---

Onico was launched in May 2006, and Swedish Match launched it in three variants - Onico White Large, Onico peppermint White Large and Onico White Mini. In May 2007 Swedish Match also launched Onico Juniper Berry White Large.

Onico looks like snus, smells like snus, and tastes like snus. Onico is an alternative to traditional snus.

Onico's plant-based, snus-like flavored pouches are targeted to snus users who want to reduce their nicotine intake. Swedish Match consumer research shows that demand for this type of product is greatest among 25 to 45-year-old men who have used snus for a long time. It's a niche product for people who want to vary their ordinary snus with a non-tobacco, nicotine-free alternative.
Onico is classified as a food product, and the product contains oats and cacao fiber.
The name Onico stands for zero nicotine.

                            ------
