    Skruf Stark Mini

Is there anyone else who would love to see this made??? I absolutely LOVE Skruk Stark Los, easily my favorite snus right now, but I can not enjoy this outside the comfort of my house. I only use minis outside the home due to necessary discreteness. Regular portions are even too big for public use for me. If Skruf came out with minis, they would have 100% of my business!

desirexe, you ever need to make a regular more discreet, it's really easy. Just push it back further. I have always done snus "wrong". My portion is right next to my back molar. Benefit of this is it is really invisible.

Yeah, I'd like to see it. I really dig the Skruf Stark Los, too, and maybe sagedil has better technique, but I can't use los in any situation where it HAS TO be invisible.

Even if I place a pris so that it can't be seen, I can't count on it staying that way.

For discretion, I have three tiers: Loose for at home, portions for when out and about, and minis for those occasions where discretion matters more than usual.

        From Skruf -

"The question regarding the strong mini is an excellent one. We know that especially women but also former smokers have a problem with the "huge portions" under their lip. The mini portions are more discrete.

However, at the moment we decide not to enter the mini market as especially the domestic Swedish market is too small to buy new or rebuilt our current machines. But there is definitely a potential!"

That's one of the most honest answers I've ever read.

They see the potential, but aren't sure about the ROI.

Thanks Chadizzy1 for shooting down my hopes and dreams! J/K...thanks for the info...I'll still hold out that they'll change their mind in the near future.

This is the part I find so interesting. The Swedish market is huge, dwarfs everything else. For Swedish Match.

The rest?? It really is small. Skruff ain't lying about that. SM just so dominates the domestic market, I am sure that we are growing huge for the others. Cause we are the only ones that will give them a chance.

              YET....

They don't act like it, which baffles me. SM has don 100000% more for our market, yet we are minor in importance for them compared to how big we are for the others.

              Just real interesting.

Indeed, I've been doing this from the onset of using snus and have never had anyone raise an eyebrow.

Did the molar thing tonight..it works (thanks for the tip Sage) and the best part, my front teeth won't get all fugly looking like that blonde girl in the anti-snus ad (seen in another thread here). LOL

I'm glad you tried it. Just opens up many more possibilities for you.

For me, it just feels more comfortable. I have tried a number of times to move it up more front "like it is supposed to". But that just has always felt weird to me. In back just feels right.

The one thing some say is it causes it to juice up more. Maybe why I like Whites far more. Maybe if I *could* do it right, regulars wouldn't taste too strong for me.

But it is how I snus, make adjustments as needed to do it. But happy you have found a way to use regular more discreetly.

Hey sage, I'd like to thank you for this tip too.

I was upset that I haven't enjoyed the last few portions of Ettan. So I just slid this one a few notches back toward "juicy". Much better.

                        See, it serves multiple purposes.

I would just like to see a few more folks use the way I do. Has always been a bit lonely.

When I use portions, they're always set back. Not as far as you I don't think, but the portion starts at my canine, and goes back from there.

I'm the same way. I always place portions farther to the side, as opposed to los, which I place somewhat close to my center teeth.

That seems to be about where that last portion wound up. I think I'd stumbled across this before a time or two, but I kept wanting to cram everything into that angle against the labial frenulum. Damn OCD!

Anyway, sage's comment helped, and yours shines further light. I wish I could just figger out this stuff by myself but I'm not so smart sometimes. And thus did God make web forums.

Filing all this under "it's my mouth, and I'll put the snus where I damn well please".

Imperial Tobacco is the parent company of Skruf (pronounced 'Skroof' and Knox brands of Swedish snus. Skruf is probably the second most popular snus brand in Sweden and one of the top most popular snus brands in the growing American market.

Skruf was started by two life long friends who saw an opportunity to make a big future for a small product - Jonas Engwall and Adam Gillberg.

Life long friends and entrepreneurs, Jonas and Adam, sat down in 2001 to discuss how they could use their skills gained in the world of finance to build a business in an area they were passionate about.
