Sucks, don't it? This stuff must have gone through the roof in popularity shortly after it came out. I wonder if there's been an issue with it, or if they just can't keep up with our chain snusing addiction!

I just ordered three cans of Thunder Wintergreen Extra Strong portion from BuySnus.com yesterday, it shipped already. What are the items having a shortage?

I have some Thunder Original and Wintergreen, but haven't gotten to them yet. From all the bad reviews I read about snus made by V2, I wonder how they are doing as a business? Maybe I have a wrong perception, but I prematurely threw in my Phantom Classic Portions in the hellbox before I got to try them, and I have read terrible reviews of it, saying it's like Dawn Lemon dish soap, Blue is like Windex. I did get to try some Brown white portion, and I didn't like it. And of course all the hate towards Offroad, but I think the Original Portions is pretty good. But then also Odens, generally believed to be made by V2, is not loved much either, well the portions mainly.

I love Oden's Kanel Portions. It's my preferred morning snus. I didn't know it was made by V2 though.

Oden's is apparently made by a company called Gajane - not finding any link to V2 so far

The most accepted idea is that Gajane contracted V2 to make Odens. That's what I have read, and I think they have a similarity.

On a related note to Thunder, what are the views on Thunder Original? I never hear much about it on the forums, and it looks to be in stock everywhere I've checked so far.

2. V2 has made significant progress on a few fronts, changed their portion material last year??

3. Odens not popular??? You must share some of the drugs you are using. :wink:

4. The ONLY Phantom that has it's detractors is Blue. And others LOVE it. Umm, you do remember Xobe, don't you?? :lol:

5. Go back and read the reviews of the test snus V2 had a bunch of us try 6 months ago. Some of that was universally loved, folks said it was some of the best snus they ever tried. Should be hitting a a limeted set real soon.

6. I highly recommend you drop you bias against V2. Your business, but you will miss much good snus if you don't.

It isn't "accepted" It is. Not really a secret. V2 produces Thunder, Odens, and Offroad snus

But my concern was the many negative reviews I read, snustest.com has some, and getsnus said they were gonna stop carrying Offroad Original Portions when it was "sold out" when I emailed about it, then later they said they would get more in, and I was told it was not selling. Now I see the Phantom Classic is "sold out", and I am suspecting the same about that one. I don't think I personally have a bias, it's just my observations from a shop and reviews I read.

Offroad, here in the states, does not have the greatest reputation. But it sells well enough overseas.

But Offroad is only part of what V2 makes. Thunder and Odens has been a huge success for them, and they have continued to expand the Phantom line.

I won't buy Offroad, but I will happily buy Phantom white again, and brown on occasion.
