Well, got a free can of Odens on my last order. The tobacco itself aint too bad at all, I kind of dig the flavor, but just like Offroad, it's wrapped in this cardboard-like, rough, bitter-ass portion material. Its the ONLY material so far that actually HURTS my gums. Its like sucking on fu*king sand paper!

I mean, are they secretly recycling the Swedes spit-out,used ass portions over there? Do they secretly pay somebody to collect them out of trash cans and ashtrays, bring them back to the factory and reduce-re-fu*king-use?

Because thats what it reminds me of...recycled fu*king toilet paper.

Keep the Thunder, as its decent, but DROP everything else! It SUCKS! Or at least change the damn crappy material!! You could wrap it in old newspaper after some homeless guy is done using it for ass-crack insulation for the night, and it would be an improvement!

I must admit that I'm not a fan of Odens but the bags really aren't THAT bad. I've always thought they were quite soft.

Although I have noticed differences in portion materials on a lot of brands of snus, I've never really had any that wrought any problems.

Now, when I used chew, compare a soft chew pouch like grizzly, and then try a skoal. yeah, you wanna talk about ****ing cardboard, try a skoal pouch. Snus pouches are velvet compared to that stuff.

I sorta agree, in that, it does sometimes seem to me, that the portion material may be V2's weak area. But to me, while it could be better, I don't think it's terrible. I'm poppin' Offroad Original Pouches all day.

I just got a can of Gotlandsnus Grey los as my mystery can, and it's really good. The tobacco is awesome, but the yellow and green portions I had just hurt. I think it might be due to the fact that they were over stuffed and fat. I prefer the less filled portions I can fold in half.

I've noticed that unlike many portions that get extremely soft and malleable with extended use, the v2 portions can take on a somewhat rigid texture.

That said, I still really enjoy them and have not yet experienced gum irritation because of it.

I have found a solution. I've noticed this varies per individual can and even between manufacturers. If it is original portions get a clean spray bottle and fill it with distilled water. Spray the portions and separate and mix them up a bit and let the can sit a few hours (to a day) and I guarantee they will be a lot softer. I've even done this on whites if they bother me and it works, although it can make a white a bit more like a regular portion. Sometimes it helps to fold them and lick them a bit to make insertion easier if they aren't too dry. Man, that last sentence sound like snus sex. 8)

I've always found Oden's to have a very soft portion, I would send that back if you aren't satisfied. Jill at GetSnus, Frank at Northerner, they're all active here, someone will take care of you, and Patrick at V2 is also very active, I'm sure he will see this.
