What are some good low-nicotine mini snuses?

I'm an infrequent nicotine user, and a light guy. So most snus is too strong for me. When I smoke, I have at most half a cigarette at a time.

What are some good snuses for me? I assume all regular portions are too strong, so only mini portions will do.

I tried Catch (Strawberry?) once, and liked it.

I think almost all of them are about half a cigarette worth. I'm looking for the other end of the spectrum.

Almost all minis except for Thunder frosted mini, Tabokka, and *maybe* one other have just 4 mg nicotine per portion. the Moccas are all top notch snus.

Discreet has 7, but doesn't hot that hard, at least give it a try.

Go to Northerner.com and check out all their minis, they have nic content in description. I think all the stores do, but Northerner or BuySnus is going to have the biggest list of minis as they have the largest stock.

          nicotine levels

Try some dry portions. Lower moisture levels reduce the levels of free nicotine available for ingestion.

Catch is a popular option for trial. In a full-size portion, there is a General Silver (6mg), and then there's the range of Moccas.

Romeo y Julieta Senorita is a good one as well, if you can get it.

Look at portion gram weight as well as overall measured nic content.

Romeo Y Julieta Senorita is fantastic! If it were available and reasonably priced, I would keep some on hand regularly.

And if you really want just a very small nicotine dose, you may want to check out Oliver Twists, or something like that.

General Silver could work too (do they still make it?). It's the size of a regular portion, but has 25% less nicotine. Most normal portions are around 8mg per gram of tobacco. Silver is 6mg. The bonus to these is that you can still have a larger portion (for the oral fixation :P).

You mention portions so feel free to ignore this, but tiny little prisses of loose are easy to bake, or click off with an icetool. Even with a prismaster it should be doable.

Homemade portion technology seems to be a fad (dare I say fad?) currently sweeping the land of SnusOn, so little prisses of lös + teabag or coffee filter might = win. Not for me, though. I think I'll just be a sheep and buy portions and use my lös loosely.

Hmm. Seriously, you could try something like fedora's method, the last post on this page...

...and either just use a very small amount of loose, or maybe even mix it, say with a nic-free snus or whatever else might taste good. Just some thoughts.

OT, but geez. It's always true that something can be googled, so does this mean there is no reason to ever ask questions anymore?

And besides, Google only works because people create web content, and perhaps one day someone will google a question about low nic snus, and find the answers posted here.

Agreed. The very fact that someone came to a forum and asked a question meant that person wanted feedback from a particular kind of audience, possibly to start a conversation, that sort of thing.

As you say, this forum is creating more content all the time for people to mine. That's a *good* thing.

I started on minis and liked Göteborgs Rape White Mini Portion and Tre Ankare White Mini Portion. Welcome to SnusOn!

Thanks for all the feedback. I decided to go with:
                            - LD mini
                            - Romeo y Julieta Senorita mini
                            - Catch Violet Licorice white mini

                            and..
                            - Grov loose, to experiment with the teabag method. Sounds like a fun project, and I'd like to be able to fine-tune the amount of snus.

Northerner removed my Romeo y Julieta from my order, probably because it's Cuban. Maybe buysnus will be more lenient..

I wouldn't bother with tea bags, but loose is like clay, and you can mold it into whatever size/shape you want, and once you get it in, it usually will stay fine.
