It was the least scary contained in the freebie sampler. Did not go well, but that was almost entirely psychological. Gave the remainder of the sampler to my brother, who occasionally dips Skoal pouches.
..and then I spent a couple of months gradually getting used to the idea, while occasionally enjoying a Discreet portion.
I wound up with another freebie sampler a few days ago, and my first out of that one was General White. Deeelicious! (I even thought it smelled good!)
The Hugest pinch of Skruf Stark Los. I fell in love that day. My first order was a roll of skruf stark los and a roll of knox los. Still part of my top 5 snuses.
GR #2. I used one portion a day that whole can. It was my special night time treat. I thought the taste was extremely odd. Not awful, just odd. I also wasn't used to the whole "you can swallow the juice" thing, so I had an empty styrofoam cup that I was spitting in. But I thought the nic hit was awesome. It calmed my ass right down. Good good times.
It probably wasn't advisable, but a fat chunk of Oden's Extra Sterk lös was the first for me. I think it might have been the Kanel, if not it was original. Knocked me on my ass.
My first snus was General Portion - and it was a friend who introduced me to this new world of tobacco.

Ettan, camel I don't consider snus any more. Opened first can thought they sent me cans of ground peatmoss. I got past the smell, Adored the taste right from the get go. Will get more later. Went with loose thinking stay with what you know, was dipping Redman fine cut at the time. Snus is 'da bomb" as my kids say about anything good.
Skruf stark. I got hooked on Nick and Johhny's though, but switched between skruf stark and general sterk back and forth, with some montecristo inbetween. Montecristo is surprisingly enough the cheapest snus in Norway.
Hi all. I'm new to the board and new to Snus. I'd have to say that I tried the Camel Snus looking to quit smoking but wanted better quality so I looked...
It starts in the soil. Before someone even puts a seed in it, soil samples are taken to a laboratory in Sweden for analysis. Swedish Match experiments with cultivation in different countries to achieve the best possible raw tobacco. If declared a good soil for tobacco, seeds are planted and every step in the development and the cultivation of the plant is carefully ...
