I don't know if I agree that the EU will lift the ban on snus, but with the Phillip Morris thing, and the potential of EU expansion, SM would be a good company to buy stock in.

You can't really get SWMA in the U.S. very easily. The Pink Sheets Swedish Match American Depository Receipt are unsponsored and illiquid. Most discount brokers don't have Stockholm on their list of exchanges. It would be expensive and difficult unless you're a big money baller type investor (technical name), and you would incur steep transaction costs.

[edit] Obviously, you can get some exposure through a variety of funds.

Instead of investing in Swedish Match AB, it would be easier to invest in Altria (MO), Philip Morris International (PM), British American Tobacco (BTI), or Reynolds American (RAI). All of these companies have a vested interest in smokeless tobacco, including snus.

Seems to me like a very good price, the cheapest i´ve seen so far is 210 SEK

I have really been wondering about adding Reynolds to my investments. I wanted to because I think snus will do well. But I do believe the tobacco/cigarette market will continue to go downhill. But, I am watching.
