I have been lurking on these boards for well over a month and have been a happy snus-er for almost a month now. Thanks everyone for your advise and open comments on this wonderful product.
I started with a one tin of general extra stark. It took seven day's to arrive in the U.S. mail and I couldn't have got it at a better time. My wife was in the hospital and I was smoking way too much. As soon as i put it in my mouth I went to the web and ordered a roll of General Onyx.
I continued to Smoke while using General ES, but didn't take my cigarettes to work with me. (My work schedule is four 10 hours shifts, so I was really nervous about leaving my lifeline at home.) The work day went off with out a hitch. I had no desire to have a smoke at all and my productivity went through the roof. However once I got home I felt the need to indulge in a nice smooth Marlboro. The can of ES lasted 3 days and then it was a four day wait for the roll of Onyx.
I ordered Onyx because I could tell the ES was a little too strong, and i only ordered one can of ES because I was afraid I wouldn't like snus-ing and didn't want to waste a bunch of cash on something I would throw away.
Now I have been three weeks on the onyx and haven't had a cigarette for over a week. I feel a better, a lot better for not having smoked.
Last week I placed a huge order for various flavors of snus, and the package arrived today.

2 cans of Roda Lacket
2 cans of Goteborgs No. 2
A Black on Black sampler
5 cans of Catch Licorice White Portion
5 cans of General White Portion
Normally i am pretty disciplined about my snus use at about eight portions a day, but faced with all this flavor..... I have indulged.
So far my favorite is the Roda Lacket, with Grovsnus Black a close second. I think General White will be my main stay. But all in all, this adventure has been fun.
I especially want to thank the active members of this board for helping me make an informed switch to snus and kick the cigarettes to the curb!
