Just placed my first los order

So my first los order is going to be here monday. It's the Getsnus los sampler.

1 Grov
1 Got yellow
1 General
1 Offroad original
1 Skruf stark
1 prismaster.

I'm looking forward to the Got yellow. Seems to have a lot of fans here. I hated the green portions though.

So...which one do you pros think a new loser should try first?

I tried general original los first, that one was very nice, but my personal favorite was the skruf stark. Much easier to bake and doesn't turn to mud as quick (most last me about an hour if I don't pack it too tightly or tongue it.

Gotland yellow is my favorite, but I think I'm gonna go with General. I don't even like it that much, but many people do, and it's easy to bake. You can use that as the benchmark to compare the other sneese(!).

I'm not a los fan or regular user, but I have used a few cans to try it out. I have only had one of those you are getting, the Grov Los. And I thought it was great, as far as taste and grind.

I would suggest Grov, a good pure tobacco flavor. I don't like general that much (the extra strong loose is great). After the grov i would suggest the Got yellow for a great classic taste (note after the got yellow the general will taste like shit compare to this one). Then the skruf.

Since a prismaster comes with your order, It really doesn't matter which one bakes better than the other. I would suggest trying the Hill billy pinch method :wink:

I guess that would be a good thing to post. My go to has been Grov white. I tend to go for the pure tobacco flavors over fruity.

Personally, I'd vote Skruf. It's easy to bake, has a decent taste and punch, and it'll hold up for a while, even if you make a massive one. I have one almost every three or four prillas.

Nice order! Any of those would be great to try first or just open them all right away. I vote General, like lxskllr said you can benchmark the rest off it.

General's a good thing to like if you're an American. You've got a good chance of always being able to find that.

Also, General might be the one that's becoming my favorite for day-to-day. That's just my taste, though, and it's too soon to say.

I've got some Gots gul in now. It's awesome. But it's one you might love or hate like the dickens. My suggestion is to save it for last.

I haven't had the Offroad yet but I've had the others.
I would say they are all good snus, not a bad one in the bunch.
It will just come down to personal taste.

I've heard good things about Ettan, so if I learn that I like los, I'll probably pick some up. The way I see it, if I hate los, I'm only out 14 bucks. Less if I trade the unopened.

FWIW, I tried General first, because I could get that in the States, then Ettan. Just got it in my head I wanted those two first. I was really looking for the most basic, close to pure tobacco thing, and that would have been Ettan. I wasn't sure I was going to like citrus/bergamot snus, but I really do. It's very subtle and balanced in the General.

Grov is also a great, basic snus. It just gets so creamy and delicious. It goes about as well with coffee as any snus I've tried.

Skruf is great, too, a little different, and easy to bake. I haven't tried the Offroad.

Ettan los is what I've got in right now. It's mighty good. I just realized I don't have much of this on hand. I need to order a roll.

Personally I didn't like the Got yellow. I tried Montecristo first which is very similar and found it to be coarse and weak - not in flavour but in nicotine delivery. It feels like you've stuck coarse sand under your lip and Got is exactly the same except with much more of a lemon flavour.

However I've got to endorse Ettan. Ettan is a beautiful los. It's like a soft chewing gum under your lip - it is impossible to mud slide, tastes great and has a pleasant nicotine delivery. If I was going to try los for the first time I'd say that it is compulsory to try Ettan.

I like los myself. Some of the ones I like.

Goteborgs Prima Fint - Great mild flavor.
Ettan - Mild but pure tobacco flavor.
Offroad Cranberry - Great flavor.
Phantom Blue - Now, I don't like the portion, but the los is fantastic.

amazing order, everything on here is exceptionally good. From my subjective viewpoint, got yellow> grov> general> skruf stark> offroad original. That said, gotlands' yellow is my favorite los snus. Grov or grov white rather, is my mainstay throughout the week, the los is quite possibly better. After the amazing deal offered on getsnus (18/roll) I'm almost disappointed in myself for not ordering more general los as I've been hitting that up every day without complaints. It's by far my favorite general product. I find skruf stark bakes exceptionally well, It hits hard and offers a strong tobacco taste with a mild hint of rose oil. I've only had offroad original once or twice, apparently tom502 digs it and he has vast snus exp.

As far as the primaster goes, I personally think it's an abortion of a product, ****ing stupid even. However; since this is your first order of los, I recommend packing each pris tight with the prismaster and then hand molding it into a circular cross section, which will keep it from producing a mudslide.
