I just tried Phantom, and it wasn't terrible but it wasn't my thing. I concur with the other mentions of the sweetness that seemed artificial. There was an underlying tobacco flavor, but I tasted the sweetness mostly with a strong hint of "smoke" flavoring as well.

I'm not tossing the tin, but I'm not tossing the portions into my daily rotation. Your mileage may vary.

Hmmmm, I do love me some cheap snus.

I'll have to try it out to see if stands up to Knox.

Just got my free can in the mail today. I am loaded up on diplomat right now but I'll try it later and let yall know if I like it. Seems that a lot of people here like it.

I too received my free can in the mail today. I actually like it quite a bit. It reminds me an awful lot of the offroad long cut. It is fairly salty, but that doesn't bother me at all. I will probably end up ordering a roll of it.

It isn't too bad. Not going to be ordering more however. It is a balance of sweet and salty. The salt does manage to cut back on the sweetness of most V2 products. Sweetness and tobacco just don't mix well IMO.

I noticed on V2's website that they have phantom classic and Phantom Enbär. I have not seen the Phantom Enbär anywhere. What is the difference and what does Enbär mean?

Hmmm... I don't know. It also looks like they are going to be making phantom loose according to the site. I might have to shoot them a message. Unless, of course, our V2 rep would be kind enough to enlighten us.

I have yet to try the Phantom, but I will order a can in the next few weeks to give it a shot. The Offroad longcut is excellent, and if V2 made a portion snus that was similar, it would probably become my every day portion. Currently my everyday/work portion is Knox.

That's Juniper berry flavour (what they make Gin out of)

ok I finally got a chance to try some Phantom portions. I like the fact that they are flat portion as opposed to the bulky ones, that was a nice change. The stuff is really salty but I do like the flavor. I will probably order 1 or 2 cans ever now and then, but this will not be something I use all the time. It has kind of a nice mixture of sweet and salty taste, but just a little too much on the salty side. It was free, and you can't beat that!
