    PLEASANT SURPRISE!!!

So the other day I was venturing through a local liquor store chain that carries cigars and other fine smoking products.... but let me back track.

I'm a fan of General products, primarily General Wintergreen, and before this weekend I hadn't tried much else from them. I saw on their product locator function via their website that said liquor store carried General products. However, after going to one they said they stopped carrying it :'(

    I had lost faith...

UNTIL this past weekend when i'm walking through a different/newer store, look to my left and I see the shimmering beauty of a General Snus fridge...

I lit up like Christmas morning, literally ran over to the case and got 1 of everything haha.

I'm stoked that I don't have to order my go-to snus from the internet anymore, plus I picked up another go-to.

    Here's what I got.

    General Wintergreen (go-to)
    General White (go-to)
    General Regular Portions
    General Mini Mint
    General Regular Loose

Anyways, as you can tell, i'm pretty excited.
Anyone else find surprise places that sell snus in your area?

BTW: This place was in Lexington KY

I stopped at a Liquor Barn somewhere in KY, or was it TN? Anyway...I can relate because they too had a General fridge and i am not even a General fan, but I was so excited, I purchased 1 of each. My disappointment quickly faded once I got in the car and discovered each snus was way past (months) its 'best by' date. The snus was okay, not completely dried out, but not completely moist either. Oh well I used the snus anyway and if I happen upon another General fridge, I'll probably go crazy buying all over again!

I share your enthusiasm. I live in Nashville. From time to time I check General's store locator and have never found a nearby store. A week ago I checked and was pleasantly surprised. I immediately went over there and got cans of General Loose and Whites. Everything was very fresh. The loose expired late October and the Whites expired in December. It's such a relief knowing I can buy snus within 10 minutes of where I live.

A cigar shop in Little Rock 5 minutes from where I work. But with taxes and the price they jack up for a "specialty" item, it's worth it to buy online for me. BUT, if I do run out for some weird reason, good to have a backup.

I'm not sure what the price was, but I just got 3 more cans...
A can of loose, whites, and regular portion for a bit over $10.

Not bad at all considering i'm not paying shipping, and I can go at my discretion.

Cans were all a month and a half out from expiration. The only one that gave me trouble were the whites. They were moist when I got them, but now they've dried up a bit.

I put the can on loosely, wet a small napkin and placed them both in a ziploc bag. They moistened up nicely.

Agreed! That fridge was stocked to brim when I went in there. Of course it was visually appealing but it might not be such a good sign of sales.

A local cigar shop called havana connections stocks general products and sells a crap load of them except Gen ES and Maxi. They are 5.00 per can with tax

South St Louis County cigarette shop. General, still fresh, at $3.09 + tax.

Buy two packs of Discreet at .89 and the sweet little old lady ("Quit smoking? GOOD! Shouldn't do that around your little kids.") will throw in a sampler envelope of General product or at least an Oliver Twist "50 cent" sampler.
