I had an N&J portion this afternoon and I think I prefer the loose. I got hit with a major nic hit, of course, but all things considered, the flavor seems to be a bit more crisp with Johnny as opposed to Nick. (I think I got the name-to-delivery-method correct )

That's sort of what I imagined the portions would be like. The N&J loose is just so damn good that I don't want to mess with it. I'm sure the portions would be good too, but I'm quite content with the loose. I just love it.

The flavor just got... gross, for lack of a better word, in a matter of minutes. It was just too sweet for my tastes. I'm not dissing the stuff really, as I'm sure many people would like it for the exact reasons that I didn't like it, but it just isn't for me. I got one can because I was curious, but I didn't like it and won't be buying it again.

Soft Morning, City! - thats one huge load of snus! Hope you can make it through them all before 'bäst före'!

About using loose and drinking ... I really didn't like the concept in the beginning, but seriously, unless your lip is completely overloaded its not that much different from drinking while on portions. I never had any problems, but I guess you could get in trouble, if you're the kind of drinker who sort of swish the entire mouth with whatever beverage entering it ... or if you are cursed/blessed with extremely wide gaps between your teeth.

well i certainly don't use it often. i've only had 2 portions so far and i've had the can for over a month. but when i do have them they are a pretty decent sweet taste. just don't expect a tobacco taste out of them. that's the key i think. people want tobacco 'bite' and they hate the fruity stuff. If it was some other substance, like candy or whatnot, you might like them better. They fit nicely since their mini's and i forget they are there till i tease it and the flavor comes out. For me it adds a nice sort of variety even if I don't use them much.

I think I'll be able to make it through them all before the best before date. I've slowly begun making room in the freezer for them as well, so this should help. I lucked out. All of the cans I recently ordered have a best before date that is over four months away. I'm sure I can find something to do with at least most of those cans within that time frame, especially that log of N&J I ordered. If not, hopefully freezing them will prolong their freshness.

And on the drinking with loose, I think I'll give it a whirl sometime this weekend. I'll just hand bake a smaller portion of N&J and dig it whilst sipping on a cup of coffee. I expect that with a little bit of practice and getting used to, it will wind up being tremendous.

I'm getting confident with loose to the point where I'm almost ready to go public with it. I still like portions, but I've really, really grown fond of loose.

how did you get 4 months out? the most I've gotten is 2.
anyway, drinking with loose in isn't hard. you just have to sort of let the liquid go to the bottom and not hit your front teeth on the way in...that way it's separated.

drinking a beverage like chugging a bottle of gatorade isn't recommended. i usually just let it fill the bottom of my mouth and swallow. if it hits your upper teeth it will saturate the snus quickly and make it break up and leak down. using a straw can be a bitch.

also keep in mind, regardless of how well you think you're keeping the snus in tact, you're still going to inevitably swallow some bits especially with drinking.

No matter how much I've been packing since morning, I always get a blast from this combination. Sadly I'm all out of N & J. My current menu is based on General original portion and Knox loose, which - of course - is nothing to complain about.

Exactly how big is your stock by now?
I agree. I haven't tried coffee with N&J yet, mostly because I've never been brave enough to drink while using loose as of yet. Can it be done without avalanche? Any tips or tricks you've got? I'd like to try it.

And my stock... well, here's a list for you:

Very impressive. What method do you use to store your supply? I'm currently stockpiling several months worth because i hate running out of snus. I feel like the hillbilly in the northerner.com commercial right now because i am out of snus.

Honestly, I just have it all in the refrigerator at the moment. When I make room in the freezer, I'll probably put some of it in there, but I don't really see the point at the moment, as most of my cans don't have a "best before" date earlier than February, and some no earlier than April (!). I haven't had any problems with stuff drying out in my refrigerator, so for now the fridge it is.
