End of the year snus. Julesnus/Kardus/Catch Cozy.

So Kardus, from what I've read, is hand cut/shredded but not ground like loose is. Northerner lists it as "long cut". So, having never used this before, I am to assume I can't Icetool this and must hillbilly it, yes?

The IceTool will kind of work, but it packs it too tight, and is uncomfortable in the lip. The flavor's also subtle, and you won't get much taste from a tightly packed pris. I kind of handbake it, but it doesn't bake like regular snus. You just get it to stick together well enough to put in your lip, not really pack it tight. Hillbillying it should work also, but I've never done that.

It's snus so there are no rules, especially at that price. I think I handbaked all my prillas of Kardus 2008, might have used an icetool for one or two, don't think I ever hillbilly'd it. It was definitely bakeable and the prillas stay and last very well.

im just waiting on my roommates rent money for next month, then its kardus time. crossing my fingers that it doesnt sell out. thinking ill pick up some julesnus los too. i dont know if i want the portions. i think ill pass on the oomph merry christmas. 70 bucks for 2 cans of snus. dear god ive seriously lost it.

i know, its eating me alive inside. the guilt of spending so much on a snus when im well stocked as it is, versus a once a year treat. yikes. thatd be one less november video game i can afford. yeesh, now that i think of it that way...

btw: id go with northerner as it comes out to be about 10 dollars less than buysnus+shipping, so for the price of kardus at buysnus you could get kardus and a can each of both los and portioned julesnus. and sure ups might handle it with care... or they might **** with it in customs. i always use swiss post.

Good points all, esp. wrt ups. I'll sleep on it, and if Northerner has it tomorrow, most likely :glom:.

edit: Update. I just checked Buysnus after logging in. Total with freight is 64.75, vs 66.13 at Northerner. Of course, I did this *after* I bought the Kardus from Northerner I'm talking Swedish Post vs. Swiss Post, of course, not UPS.

Naw, I didn't sleep on it. I got in bed, couldn't sleep, and saw my deposits had cleared. That was all I was waiting for, really.

Hmm. Now I'm really tempted to buy one from Buysnus, too.

Yeah, you're right :-) I wish I could hang with you guys in the gamers thread. But, I kinda dropped off of gaming years ago. About the only game I play right now is SubSpace/Continuum, which is ancient, and mostly dead, but hell it's free.

And in February of 2010, the Catch Collection line begins again with new flavors.

I just saw this post and the one about Nov 16 for the Gotland. I missed the date of the 16th. Wish I had saw it earlier.

Will all the sites have the Catch Collection? Anxious to try the Cinnamon.
