SAD - Snus Acquisition Disorder

Straight rip off from my pipe board. Many folks suffer from either PAD or TAD. Pipe Acquisition Disorder or Tobacco Acquisition Disorder. Some folks have like 400 pipes, just utterly insane to me.

But I like SAD. :wink:

Count me in that group. Guess some of us go through phases of obsessive acquisition. Hence, loads of cigars, pipes, pipe tobacco and now a good quantity of assorted snus.

A friend of mine's dad was a big shot lawyer in the small town I am from and he had a room in the middle of their house that was a music room with all the little triangles on the walls and everything. All four walls were lined with cabinets and the top shelf was all pipes probably 100's from my recollection and the second shelf was all cigar humidors. He must have kept his pipe tobacco in drawers somewhere. As a kid it seemed totally crazy.

Started back in the summer; must've been June or July...about 20 cigarettes back. Still smoke pipes regularly and hit the hookah on occasion. Yeah, still have lots of shisha arounf as well.

Now you just need to add snuff too!! Roderick from Toque hangs out here sometimes. Cam maybe 18 months ago and offered free samples, so the first group of folks played with it. Then about 7 months ago, I got into it and was VERY public, now we have a large subgroup who uses as well.

I will start smoking pipes next month. Someone here is getting me set up, and have spent the last 4 days reading Smokers Forums learning everything I can. Snus introduced me to a love for tobacco. Something I never felt in 32 years of smoking. And the more I explore now, the more I truly am falling in love with it. Still will smoke a cigarette every month or so, I have long said one of my greatest joys in snus is the ability, now, to smoke a cigarette when I want, never again because I need..

I thought you were gonna say seasonal affected disorder, or whatever it's called. I always make sure I have an ample amount of snus on hand. Lately, I have been buying dip on occassion, or chew. Never started this until snus came around. Smoke free for almost 2 years now!

I did not collect ANYTHING before I discovered snus and snuff, not even clothes, makeup or shoes (well, okay, maybe a LITTLE collecting). Anyway, the other day I got out all of my snuff to snap a picture of it and my hubby just laughed and called me crazy. He didn't believe that others post pictures of their collections online! Some people just don't understand!
