I said it in another thread, but I'll say it again......I hate you guys.

You can't really blame me on this one.

Did you mean to say you have never ordered $50 or more of snus before???? I have done $199 orders, $150 orders. Most times I order now, usually around $125

Your in the clear on this one. No, I just keep placing 20 dollar orders throughout the month. Still trying to find that one snus I can order a lot of. I've got two cans of LD coming, I think that will be the one I end up ordering 50 dollars or more of. I just wanna use it a little more to make sure it doesn't turn on me.

FYI, My $199 order contained NO rolls. Just 3-4 of just about every snus made.

Back on topic, but I couldn't help but notice that I pre-ordered the Kardus from Northerner. The info still says "pending" but they added the 100 points.

              So hopefully I got one.

Yes, it's due to the release date. If you click details on your order it will tell you a more detailed status. The everyday snus I ordered says shipped, and the xmas snus still says pending.

A little more info about Kardus from a new SM Press Release. If this doesn't make your mouth water....I don't know what will.

                      Kardus Superior Blend 2009
Exclusive vintage snus with a Latin American character

Air-dried tobacco from Guatemala, sun-dried tobacco from the province of Salta at the foothills of the Andes and a first-class, 23-year-old dark rum from Guatemala. These are the ingredients that form the basis of the most exclusive snus in the world – Kardus Superior Blend 2009.
“The reasons why Kardus is called ‘the most expensive snus in the world’ are many,” says Conny Andersson, tobacco expert at Swedish Match. “The hand-picked ingredients are of the very highest quality and the authentic craftsmanship behind Kardus is in a league of its own.”
Swedish Match has released various versions of Kardus since 2005. Each vintage has a unique distinctive character and is issued in a limited edition totaling 500, with packaging that also exudes an air of exclusivity – Kardus is delivered in a hand-crafted cherry wood box.

Unlike traditional loose snus, Kardus is cut, which gives the snus its special aroma and flavor. Swedish Match Product Developer Lars Öberg developed this year’s recipe, which has a distinct Latin American character infused with tobacco and rum from the region.

“This year’s Kardus takes you on an exotic flavor journey, with hints of the Central American rum tradition and aromatic, high-quality tobacco from Argentina,” Öberg explains.

Kardus is sold by six carefully selected tobacco specialists in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Malmö. The package contains 100 grams of snus and is sold at a retail price of approximately SEK 450.
                      Sales locations:
Stockholm: Brobergs (Sturegallerian), Cigarrummet (Stureplan 2), NK Press och Tobak (Hamngatan 18-20).
                      Gothenburg: Brobergs (Arkaden).
Malmö: Malmö Cigarr och Tobakshandel (Gustav Adolfs Torg 41).
                      Uppsala: Chocolat (Bolandsgatan 15 G).

I didn't write this, but thought I would share.

Every time I read these descriptions of Kardus I am so tempted to go and order some even though I'm probably too new to snus to really appreciate it yet, and I still haven't built up the nerve to try los yet either.

Maybe I should order some and stick it in the freezer until I'm ready for it...

I wouldn't recommend it. Just get a can of General los, or any.

I am so looking forward to my Kardus arriving....although when it does, I will try to put it away until Christmas Day.

Anybody know if an Icetool would be any good with this or would the longer cut make it a pain? (I'm also looking for a excuse to buy myself an Icetool and a few cans of los)

(By the way.....Doh! moment: my wife said "Oh, you should have mentioned it, I'd have got you some for Christmas". Too late as I ordered it almost a weeks ago)

The IceTool will work, but it's sub optimal. I take a pinch, mush it together enough so I can get it into my lip, and enjoy. The IceTool makes the pris too hard, and it's rather uncomfortable, and the flavor's reduced.

Thanks. That's kind of what I thought.
