    Kanel...good burn?

I'm coming into my enjoyment of a variety of snus rather nicely...but I'm having a problem keeping my interest with those that don't provide an exceptional burn.

Call is the masochist in me...but I need that burn. As of now, I get the burn, ever so slightly, from N&J and GES...though it is more prominent in Thunder Frosted. Oden's Kanel provide the burn I'm looking for? Does anyone enjoy this snus at all.

I'll order a tin or so here within the week...I'd just like some insight on "burn" snuses.

Thank yah...and as always...enjoy your night.

General Wintergreen has got a pretty sadistic burn to it, if you like wintergreen in your snus. It happens to (still) be my favorite, go-to snus. Hurts oh-sooooo good.

ES Kanel, I've not tried the regular Kanel, but I think the ES will make you happy. Oden's ES Original is something you should try, if you haven't let. Oh, wait, I've only had those in los as of yet, well, I would imagine the portions will please you.

Just comparating GES and OESO (only los, sorry, although I like the GES portions), I prefer the flavor of General more, but Oden's ES Original (and ES Kanel, though it's been a while) has more kick & burn.

You have me wanting ES Kanel now. Damn. Another open can.

It's a curious thing, but only the mint and wintergreen snus actually burn for me. The extra sterks make my gums THROB but not painfully.

FWIW, Oden's Kanel ES delivers one hell of a throb, as though my heart has temporarily relocated to my upper lip.

Umm, is it just me but don't you become immune to the burn the longer you use. Been a long time since I felt that with any snus I use.

Kinda like a nic buz, just goes away the more you use.

Aw, man. I didn't have the heart to go there.

I've only been using about eleven weeks, but yeah. His post made me kinda jonesy for it.

You can get it back for a last hurrah if you switch the way you get it. If you're used to strong stuff, try a General wintergreen or a Catch menthol. Chances are you'll feel a little bit of a burn from those for the first portion or two. If you aren't used to snus higher than 8mg/g, then popping in a sterk will net ya a little burn. At least that's been my experience so far.

Yes Tristik, young folks just a bit past can recapture some of that burn glory. But not folks 6 months, or certainly not folks after a year.

Past a point, it is just gone. Perhaps part of the reason I added snuff after a bit over 2 years using snus. The snuff burned again, felt good, I liked it. But even that has lessened a bit 6+ months of snuffing

Meh, I've been snusing for a little over a year now. The last can of wintergreen i got was about a month ago and the first 2-3 portions I had netted me a little tingly-tingle on the lip. Then again, it had been quite a while (3 months+) since I had either that or menthol,.

I bet the wintergreen might even give me a bit of tingle. But certainly no sterk does ever any more, no other snus does. Not like my first 3 months

Brush your gums with your tooth brush not too hard, then rinse with listerine pushing it all over the gums hold it there for a good few minutes. Tomorrow you'll get that burn.

I agree. Im very anal about my teeth, brush/floss 4 times a day w/ Colgate Total, and use Listerine Total(purple).

General Wintergreen still gives me that burn, though not quite as strong as at the beginning. Maybe thats why.

ANY other snus no longer gives me that burn, not even Catch Eucalyptus or Thunder Frosted.

General Wintergreen still gives me that burn. I went a few months without it, got some in a trade, and it burned like I just started all over again. About a quarter way into the can, it went away again.

I actually got Oden's because I thought it would give a burn.
It doesn't really though, but I did come to enjoy it.

Gen. Wintergreen is your best bet.
I suggest moving it around each time to get a good burn. Even try bottom-lipping it.

Does Thunder Wintergreen have a burn?
