    Welcome to Snuson Solarist.

Ettan was my first ever snus. I date back to that small croud here who predate Camel. Good early choice. MANY people here don't tolerate the wintergreen well. A few love it, most don't. Really an outlier in what snus tastes like

As for the Elyxr. Folks will tell you that I am Elyxr's prime pimp here. Have been using it since shortly after it came out. It kinda tastes strange, I always say it tastes like a**. Not really quite that bad, but if I prepare folks for that, they always say it wasn't as bad as they expected. But NOT a snus used for taste, ONLY for how it makes you feel. And Elyxr works for me

While the Ettan was great, with a whole 4 hours of sleep and needing to get my head functioning enough to actually work, I popped in one of the General Stark's - and it is quite decent also. Seems something with the Wintergreen's itself rather than the "Swedish" aspect was throwing me off, which is a great sigh of relief.

I think, after your very colorful description, Captncaveman, I wouldn't be able to think about trying an Elixyr. Even if the taste ultimately was agreeable, the mental picture I would have would taint any experience. I mean, if it was a 2 day marathon maybe, but three?

Thinking the Roda Lacket will be the next snus to try.

I think it should be a law that every new snusare must try Ettan, General (non-wintergreen, NOT mini mint), and Grov first. At least that way they would hava an idea of what snus is really about.

        Okay, no law, actually.

        I love Roda Lacket.

Thinking about ordering some more snus (so much more to try!!). Currently sitting in my getsnus cart:
          • General Onyx
          • Ettan Original Portion (Gotta have more!)
          • Grovsnus Black Portion
          • Offroad Cranberry Portion
          • Nick and Johnny Original Portion
          • Oden's Classic Cinnamon Portion
          • General Original Portion
          • Thunder Original Portion
          • Lab Series 02
          • Offroad Limited Edition 2009 [i](wish I could ditch the moonshine, but the rest sound great)

Any I that I am making a grievous mistake with (besides the moonshine)?

Pretty much have loved everything in my original order except for the General Wintergreen (still traumatized from the initial try) and the Discrete full flavor.

Realized why I think I like the Ettan's - reminds me a lot of green olives which I can consume a huge jar of in one sitting.

Also been realizing how great some of these snus are with a good dark beer - even better than coffee!

You might ate the Offroad, many do. But should at least try it. Otherwise, a fine order you have lined up.

Initially, the Offroad Licorice was pretty high on my likes, although the Ettan and General Stark has been kicking it down the list. So wasn't absolutely appalled thus far by Offroad and some of those limited flavors sound absolutely great (probably the only cig. I actually "miss" is cloves - not that I can buy them in the US anyways...).

Went ahead and placed the order. Probably the most excited by the Onyx.

Don't worry about the limited editions one's, those don't taste anything like Offroad's typical. i was just referring to the Cranberry.

I don't think I would have ordered the Cranberry separately (seen a lot of not too positive reviews), but was part of Getsnus' "Autumn Portion Sampler". Even excluding the Offroad, the price is cheaper than the other 5 separately - so figure it isn't a huge loss if I am not too fond of the Cranberry.

There really should be a rule that everyone young and old must try offroad/phantom products!

Since i suggested the offroad to you Solarist, if you don't like them contact me and i will buy them from you.
