Wintergreen...Yuk!

General Wintergreen was a bit too strong for my liking...

I used to hate all mint flavors of tobacco, until I tried Stoker's Dip... and then Thunder Frosted/Wintergreen.

Tastes DO change over time, sometimes it is good to revisit an old snus to find out whether it turns your crank.

Sold remaining 23 portions to co-worker for $2 who I'm in the process of converting from Camel Candy to real snus. He was a fan of skoal and likes wintergreen although just admitted even this won't be his goto everyday snus.

I just did the same thing today. At least five or six people at work have just discovered Camel Snus and have been using them as an aid to stop smoking. Just today someone finally showed an interest in my Swedish Snus that I've been using for the past five months. Gave up my remaining 23 Wintergreens and a new can of General white portions for five bucks.

I have to say that whenever i get a can of General Wintergreen for a bonus can i think "damn, wintergreen again". I always keep them though because as much as i like my odens ES, Grov Svart or Onyx, i do enjoy a wintergreen every once in a while so they never go to waste. It's definitely not one i'll ever pay for, but as a freebie, i'll use it.

I can't stand wintergreen either. I just gave away the last 5 cans in a roll of Thunder Wintergreen. Yuck. Frosted is amazing though. :P

I am so confused! I THOUGHT that I hated wintergreen, however, I like Discreet Emerald Ice. I swore that this was SPEARMINT flavored, but a few websites have it listed as WINTERGREEN flavor! I feel like an idiot if that's true because I 'believed' I was tasting a spearmint flavor!

Discreet is wintergreen flavored, but it is mild compared to, say, a wintergreen Tic tac or General wintergreen.

I love General Wintergreen! After 6 months of use I've found the taste changes.... the undertones of regular General are almost more up front and a smaller hint of Wintergreen mixed in.

I had to bin 6 cans of Thunder Wintergreen.....way tooooo much nicotine for me.
When I order from Getsnus they always send me General mint :? and lately Grov :roll: I guess I should call Getsnus and tell them no mystery can unless it's General Wintergreen lol

Ha. By contrast, I don't like Discreet Emerald Ice because I do think it tastes like spearmint, a flavor I don't care much for.

Oddly enough, had a bit of wintergreen this week and decided it's not so bad. Mostly, it tastes like what American "Icy Hot" (the muscle pain reliever) smells like to me. (And no, never tasted Icy Hot, thank you. :wink: ) Can't quite get myself to enjoy Emerald Ice, though I do keep trying..
