Trying some different snus today...

In my 3 months of snusing, I have tended to gravitate toward the
"classic" type flavors like General, Grov, Ettan etc. So out of curiosity, my latest order had a few different flavors to try. My order came today
and I have sampled all of them now. Here are some initial impressions..

Jakobson's Classic - first flavor to hit was orange (or is that tangerine?)
A few seconds later, it was Robitussin cough syrup. As a matter of fact, if Robitussin made an orange-flavored cough medicine, it would most surely taste like this.

Jakobson's Ice Fruit - bubblegum + vomit (not one of my favorite flavor combos). The touch of mint doesn't really help much.

Phantom Classic Brown - WTF? Ya know, I've never tasted dog shit before, but I guess that it might be similar tasting if you soaked it in oven cleaner for a few days.

Offroad Icemint - Now this is pretty good, actually. Might keep some of
this around for a change of pace.

Catch Eucalyptus - This one is not bad either, might keep a little on hand.

I'm gonna use up all of these and give them a chance (Gulp), but I don't see myself ordering any more of the first 3.

I never had the brown, but the two Jaks. are ok. More of a once in a while snus. The classic goes really well with coffee.

I've had the Phantom brown los, and it's not bad tasting at all.

LOL that's some bunk snus you got there grover. Jakobsson orginal is okay. I definitely get the orange flavor too, similar to Montecristo. It's a very "unrefined" comparison, but hell, orange works for me too. I don't know what the hell that flavor is. I laughed at your first impression of the Ice Fruit. One of the worst snus I ever had. I didn't try the Brown I got -- it went to the Force. Hope you get some better snus next time!

I've had the Phantom brown los, and it's not bad tasting at all.

I've got the portions. I've heard the los is much better.

I like all the ones you got, except I use Phantom lös, and Offroad IceMint's kind of meh. It's ok, but it has some off flavors(more so in the portions than the lös).

It is, IMHO. All the Phantom portions I've tried are okay, but they have a funky taste in spades. With the los it's a much more refined funk.

I've got my first prilla of Phantom Classic Brown Lös, not bad, not bad at all. 8) Nice mellow taste, no bitterness.
