    Bake Off

Bakin' it up for the very first time today. Thanks to Zero's video, a gem if there ever was one, I believe I'm well ahead of the learning curve, but certainly far, far, far from precision. Also, the various tips by the other snusers on this forum have been extremely helpful. I've baked thee pris so far, and all three stayed put in my mouth fairly well. I'm most proud of my third one, certainly the most well-formed of the lot. I couldn't of done it without you guys!

Um . . . yeah . . . that so-called "most well-formed" pris ended up turning into an avalanche in my mouth before too long. And then I was looking at my original post here, and, OMG! That sounds like bragging to me! Karma nailed me on this one.

Hah. No worries, man. You'll get the hang of it in no time at all. Zero's video was a tremendous help, indeed. The moment I got my first shipment of loose, I was on my sofa with a can of Ettan, studying the video intensely. I find the three finger pyramid technique to be the most effective for me. I form the pyramid to get it all compacted, then I start forming it into more of a oval-barrel shape. Just experiment. You'll find the technique that works best for you in no time.

I'll have to try the pyramid technique. Thanks for the encouragement.

Oh, Soft Morning, City!, while I have your attention, when you have a pris in does it touch your gum line, and/or hang over your teeth? This might be a silly question, but I find it easier keeping a portion further up than a pris. Then again, I find it nearly impossible at times to keep both from touching my gum line.
