Snus Reviews Section on SnusOn!

I was just getting on and checking around, scrolled down to the bottom, and there's a snus review section! It's going to be a hell of a chore to go through ALL these posts and get them moved... I hope everyone will help out with this, I think this is REALLY going to help the SnusOn community.

Just my opinion, but I think the reviews should be more specific, and have the actual name of the snus reviewed in the topic, with each person giving their review, or comment after it. I'd not use old posts, but start it afresh, or if a poster wanted to, copy paste his previous review there, under the sepecific snus name topic. This would be more useable and specific.

I think this is a great idea. It may get confusing, but there are alot of duplicate reviews out there and it may be hard to merge ALL of them, but I think for now getting them into ONE category is going to make this ALOT easier. And will definitely eliminate alot of the clutter.

Well, it would be easier, to go right to the Manufacturer thread, and find the specific snus you are interested in, and read the reviews and comments. I was just there, and just importing the various non-specific thread that happen to mention a snus, is really not a standardized organized review list of specific snus.

In fact, if it was up to me, under each Manufacturer catagory, I would start a new thread for reviews titled for each specific snus. Like "Swedish Match" catagory, "General Original Portion", "Ettan Los", "Onyx"... etc, etc. It could be specified by full actual name of the 1 specific snus, and that thread would be reviews and comments, and not to deviate from that specific snus.

That's what I mean. I don't mean to be over critical, as I think a Reviews section is a good idea, but I'd rather it be organized and strict by specific name with actual reviews and comments pertaining to the reviews. Like wade's recent post about Primafint should not be sent to the reviews. I'm not in control, just airing what i think would make a reviews section really good.

sorry vegan but I just can't open every thread to see what its all about and then move it. the job would never get done. I do appreciate you all letting me know when I have made a mistake. thanks.

I vote that we delete all the old review threads and start over. that would be alot easier and alot more organized. better to do it now than wait another year.

What do you think about keeping White portion and Original portion reviews seperate?

I believe each review thread should be specific in name, and to that specific snus. Like "General Original Portion", "Skruf Stark White Portion", "Odens Extra Stark Kanel Los". Not just General, or Skruf Portion.

If you, or someone, wanted to, the thread titles could be started already:

General Original Portion
General White Portion
General Sterk White Portion
General Extra Sterk Portion
General Wintergreen White Portion
General Los
General Extra Sterk Los

and so on with each brand, under their manufacturer catagory.

This seems like the best way to me.

Check out the threads in the Oden's area of the review section. I think that's a great idea. All the "Official" reviews will be sticky'd, and seperated by what type of portion they are.
