New to Snus

Hello, I am new to this Snus following, but it sounds like
a smart alternative to chewing tobacco. Im about to place
my first order online and was wondering what I should
buy? loose or portion and what brands are you guys are
fond of?

I would recommend one of the sample packs from the Northerner. Taste is highly personal, and snus doesn't really correlate well with chewing tobacco. It would be like comparing a pipe to cigarettes. They're kind of the same thing, but not really.

Portions are easier of course, and I think they're my preference. I'm still waiting on my first can of lös to find out though.

My first order was the 24 can pack. There were a couple of losers, but I found most to be at least acceptable. The 24 pack shows almost everything snus has to offer(except for loose). If money isn't an issue I'd get the 24, and the loose sampler. If you don't want to spend that much I'd get the 24 and a couple of cans of loose. You may have noticed I'm not pushing the 8 can sample of portions... I think the flavor range is too narrow with that set, and it doesn't give a full representation of the variety available in snus.

Welcome to the forums man. I'd definitely get some kind of portion sample pack and a few cans of løs, probably general løs might be good. You might not like løs at first but just keep at it you will probably find you enjoy it.
