Offroad LE - Manufacturing error?

So, I just got my Offroad LE a few hours ago (Thanks UPS guy!)

Inside the metal can there was a shrink-wrapped roll of snus, containing:

2x Sweet Clove
2x Mandarin
2x Chocolate-Raspberry
4x Moonshine

No Mango Creme, just bonus Moonshine... gah. Unfortunate because I was really looking forward to the mango creme, not so much with the moonshine, which smells pretty umm.. rough around the edges.

This was from Getsnus, and it's clearly not their fault, since the roll was still shrink-wrapped. Anyone else get a mispacked Offroad LE set or was I just seriously unlucky?

Not pissed off, just a bit disappointed since the one I wanted most was missing and replaced by the one I didn't have a lot of interest in.

Oh well. I've contacted Getsnus but don't expect they can do much since they're sold out on the Offroad LE.

FWIW, the moonshine is actually not that bad. At least I liked it.

I'm still a little terrified of the Moonshine, haha. I've tried the mandarin and the chocolate-raspberry, both of which are excellent.

Mostly I am blown away at how soft these portions feel compared to the Offroad Cranberry I had (which was near expiration when I got it). The tobacco looks much darker and the portions are soft and comfortable. Very glad I took the risk of buying this after a bad experience with Offroad cranberry.

Still sad about no mango creme, though. OTOH, I may buy another couple of rolls, especially if the moonshine is doable. It REEKS of ethanol which has me a little scared :P

Yeah, the moonshine smells much worse than it tastes. Still, I wouldn't really want four of them, but it's not as bad as it could be.

Why I posted over and over the threads from when the bunch of us tested these flavors 6 months ago. Everyone agreed at the time that these were unlike any portions Offroad had ever put out. Happy, I guess, that V2 didn't ruin them after we tested them

The other flavors are 100% awesome!

Let it just be said that I was the first tester post about moonshine, I hated it and gave V2 much grief for even trying it. Many of the other testers, trying to trump me I suppose, went on to say how much they loved it. It SO pleases me to see that real snusers are taking my side. :wink:

Really? All I got was a slightly sweet moonshine flavor. Kinda like the peach 'shine my uncle and I used to get when I lived down in the Carolinas. I liked it. Very nostalgic and all that. If you don't want the rest of yours, you can always send it to me.

I've got no problem with that, as long as it's kept interesting and I don't end up with nothing but a freezer full of nothing but Moonshine snus. I do like some variety in my rotation. :lol:
