My 01 review

It's funny reading these messages as I just got my first 01 and 02 and while I do like them, I find after about an hour I just can't keep them in my mouth anymore. Weird, others I leave in 2-3 hours and only change when I feel like my nic level is going down but these, I just can't keep them in. Always have to follow them up with a Thunder Frosted to clear the palette.

Glad to know it's not just me.

I've had 2 cans of 01 and am on my 4th can of 02 and haven't seen
any drop off.

In all honesty I was biased towards not liking either from all the
roll out hype so I didn't have any big hopes going in. What I've found
is an even, balanced, and smooth flavor that stays consistent through
out the day. I'm liking both a lot but find the 02 the best as I'm finding myself not liking white portions as much. Lucky's are still on top
but 02 is up there in the rotation with Grov, N&J, Ettan, and General ES.

The whole "no drip" seems bogus to me but maybe it works on
the upper lip .... I only use lower lip.

My 1st ever 01. Hmm, well initial impression is good. The portion size is good, but I noticed the N&J is thinner than regular ones too. Don't notice any "no drip" difference. Seem to be having a slight nic kick. Taste is good so far.... so far. not bad.

Actually I think the taste reminds me of N&J....

Gotta agree with most of you. Started Snusing August of this year, never smoked or anything, just the occasional cigar. A Norwegian friend of mine gave me one when we were out one night drinking and I hooked. Started with Skruf White, bought some Camel the next day (sucked, but finished two tins). Then I ordered about 60 dollars worth of snus. Tried a bunch of different flavors, liked the Traditional Tobacco flavors the best. In my second order i got some 01. Loved the first can, absolutely the best one I had ever tried. Recently i bought a sleeve of 10. I'm on can 4 now and I can't stand it anymore. After about 30 minutes I'm sick of it, so i put in a new one. I love the size of the portion, the flavor is awesome right away, and then... it just stays the same once you're accustomed to it...

Hi kotie82. Welcome to the forum. Do you mean you get burnt out on it, or just that you love it so much you can't stand it?

Really? It should be quite a bit larger than a mini, just longer and thinner than a standard portion.

I get burnt out on it. For the first... 5 minutes or so its exactly what i'm craving. After that it just tastes... bland, like after riding a rollercoaster at Six Flags over and over again. That first drop (dip?) is awesome then it's just business as usual for the rest of the ride. Still a good snus, but definitely a rotational snus. I still have 4 unopened cans of it, so if anyone wants some let me know and we'll set something up.[/i]

In my limited experience, it seems that 01 looses it flavor after about 30 minutes... not sure if its the low drip nature of it, but it does seem to die quickly....
