original vs white portions, am i missing something?

I can't usually tell any bloody difference between original and white portions, yes i know whites aren't sprayed but to me it doesn't seem to make any difference at all. what's the catch or advantage or disadvantage or preference or whatever else. o_O

The difference can be greater from one brand to the next. Whites are usually drier (the snus itself, not just the material). They can also be firmer. A lot of the Swedish Match whites start out kind of like hard little rectangles, whereas the original portions are looser, more like little sandbags. To me, a General White, say, will have a slightly "cleaner" taste than the General Original portion. The OP will get going faster, be juicier, and maybe not last quite as long.

If you ever get one of those little SM posters from Getsnus, you'll notice how some of their products in white portion (supposedly) differ from their original portion counterparts in moisture level as well as, sometimes, flavor, some brands more than others.

Regulars will juice up much more than whites. The flavors of whites will come on more slowly, and will often last longer than regulars.
