i think ill go back to the shakespearean era

    Nicotine induced delight,
    Indulging in euphoric pleasure.
Flirting with my gums till day becomes night,
The intensity of Thunder stretching beyond measure.
Nestled in my mouth, tongue gently caressing,
    Absorbing the juices released.
Your entrance in my life a blessing,
    Draining the pris until deceased.
Born again as a new, I bake,
    Into that perfect form.
    Drowning in the nicotine lake,
As I push through the storm.
    Pris of life you are,
    Your power stretches far.

Thanks for the warm welcome! And for all the poetry. From iambic pentameter to found free verse... consider me impressed.

On day two of real snus usage and still loving it. I am having one small problem though... goddam my lips are dry! Which is weird because the portion has no contact at all with my lips. Is this something that will stop happening as my body adjusts to the snus? I'm drinking tons of water to stay hydrated but it doesn't seem to be reaching my lips at all. Any advice? So far the only solution I've found is slathering on lip balm til it feels like my mouth is about to slide off my face...

Just guessing here but it could be the adjustment period for the nicotine being introduced via your gums and salivas. I know my first couple weeks, my lips and gums would feel pretty numb after hitting some starks especially. About the 3rd week, that started to ease up.

…that, or, do you find that you are standing in a lot of cold windy places. A simple stepping indoors might be all you need.

Just kidding what LaZeR said I think is spot on. This is very common with los, especially if you are spitting (I realize that you are using portions). As your body adjusts the dry lips should subside (BTW nicotine is an anti-inflammatory and thus it pushes moisture out) Your body will acclimate.

Keep us posted and welcome to the forum
