How much money do you think it would cost to start up an American snus company producing snus like the Swedes?

I can imagine the "Uniquely American Flavors" would include a Coors Light Snus.

I think it's far more likely that we'll see a Big Tobacco company or companies buying out Swedish snus makers. They have the money and clout to drive out competitors once they own a dominant product.
Camel didn't really work. Marlboro was a total flop. And Skoal is still puzzling over why its "dry" products flopped.
Still, our numbers are small, even as more cigarette smokers seek less expensive alternative sources of nicotine. When the money is there, the big boys will serve the market. Until then, happy online ordering - and be glad we still can go that route.

Tom has great plans for his tobacco company. The first flavors were just his foot in the door, filling a niche no one else had, something that allowed him to start developing relationships with distributors.
It is coming, I promise it is. And it will blow you away when he has finished doing everything on his list

Yes, Tom has spoken before about it here. Exactly the same as Sweden, except the lab coats are a different color he says.
EDIT
The exact quote...
