Offroad American Wintergreen Long Cut or Regular

As I've mentioned on some other threads, I usually use loose at home so am starting to build up some variety of loose and was wondering about the difference of the two Offroads.

I was wondering if the long cut of the OR American Wintergreen packed any different in the IceTool than the regular cut? I tried the Offroad Wintergreen portions from my first order from Clubsnus and actually liked the flavor better than General or Thunder. I bought a can of the long cut from Clubsnus as well but haven't tried it. Just curious here at work if any of you Offroaders had some opinions on this.

Ugh, I thought maybe this was a new Offroad product like the "General Tobacco Cuts". I haven't had any of their Wintergreen loose.

Sorry about that Chief. I'll change the title.

I haven't tried the longcut, but I do like the regular Offroad American Wintergreen. I'd like to know the difference too!

I had one can of the OR long cut. I couldn't get it into my prismaster to save my life. It was too coarse. It looked a lot like long cut chewing tobacco, but the can i had was a bit drier than chew and a bit coarser.

Offroad long cut wintergreen apart from being a poor imitation of wintergreen dip is incredibly hard to use in a snus portioning tool.

Have you or anyone tried the regular cut?

The long cut is just like American long cut dip. I wouldn't imagine it being hard to work with but when I had it instead of baking a pris I would just dip it like long cut dip on the lower lip. It tastes bland and took me some time to get used to it.

Sorry PMD, I've only had the long cut so I don't know how the tobacco cut is on the regular loose.

EDIT: If you go to Getsnus, they have pictures of the tobacco when you look at the details of any particular product. Can't tell much from the pictures, but it'll give ya a view of the 2 cuts.

Got a few offroad cans on my current order, can't wait.

I finally tried the Long cut last night and just didn't like it at all. I threw the rest of it out. That is about the nastiest tasting tobacco I have ever come across. I like Offroad's Wintergreen portion ok but not the loose. Glad I didn't order the roll of it from Getsnus.

Offroad Long Cut wintegreen just tastes and feels like a poor imitation of good american long cut wintergreen such as grizzly, kodiak and the new copehagen wintergreen.

I tried it in a portioning tool and it did not work so well. Handbaking did not work so well. I had more success with it using it like dip, i.e taking a pinch in the lower deck, but this as expected produced so much juice and as it tasted bad and bland I spat out the juice as you would with dip.

In my opinion the wintergreen snus that comes close is general wintergreen I wish they made a Lös version of this.

I would be interested in trying General Wintergreen los myself sometime. Kind of burnt out on wintergreen of any kind right now though.
