    Mixing Snus

Has anyone ever mixed different snus?

I was curious about this so I had an experiment. I mixed Grov Black with Roda Lacket 50/50 to fantastic results. I don't generally like los snus unless I'm using it at home and even with that I've become so accustom to portions.

Curious to learn if others have tried this and what they thought of it.

Made your own blend eh? 8)

The only thing I've done is take some Granit lös that I wasn't too happy with and added some Colgin's Liquid Smoke. It did improve it IMO but nothing to write home about.

Your blander snus, like Grov, Ettan, & Prima Fint make good candidates for blending experiments.

I mixed the last of a can of Grov with an equal amount Ettan, but it wasn't any better than each on their own. Too similar, I guess. Later today I plan on mixing Oden's Kanel with Offroad Cranberry. Will report back.

I mix things here and there, usually 50/50, some I mix a little bit less, 25/75....just depends on what it is.

Phantom Blue+GoteRape Los is a really interesting blend. 50/50

V2 Julesnus/Gotland Julesnus - Did this yesterday just for the hell of it, it's interesting. 50/50

        Montecristo 75/Ettan 25 - Great blend.

Prima Fint+Thunder Frosted Los - Subdues the taste of the mint and provides a more mellow experiences. 50/50.

Ettan+Phantom Blue - Tones down the Phantom Blue flavor a bit, makes for a unique experiences. 50/50

Those are some of my favs.

I don't think I wanna do it, but what if one mixed in some flavored dip, with a more basic los, like Ettan?

I put some Odens Kanal and some Flader portions togather in the top compartment of a can before and let them sit for a few days, it was pretty good, kind of like apple cinnamon pie.

I got 5 cans of the worst sodden snus i ever tasted:

think it would be unbearable to mix it with any good quality stuff. i will keep it in the freezer until the next war is comming

That's a weird can. Are you referencing Goteborgs Rape? If so, I like the los, I'll take it off your hands

I rather liked that; better than the Swedish Match version in fact :^)

I don't mix snus. I'll mix the dregs of a tin with a new tin, but only with snus that has a similar flavor. You can't even tell they've been mixed.

                    Hi Tom502.

I just joined this forum and am just getting acquainted with it. It's nice to see a familiar name. with reading about people blending snuffs and then trying it myself I got curious about blending snus. I don't think that it would make much of an impression on me with just regular snus, I think that a regular and a sterk makes for more of a new sort of thing. Snus doesn't have nearly as strong of a flavor profile that snuff does IMO though I still don't like minty anything and that goes for snus too...though a spearmint or eucalyptus part might be nice. I must broaden my horizons.

I'd suspect there's many other snuffhouse members on here too. Cool.

Did you try to handbake it, its almost impossible to use without a tool. And no Goteborg Rape beats this one 10-0

That's the version made by Orlik. the Orlik version has salmiak and licorice extract in it
