? for Thunder Frosted users

So here's the thing: When I first started buying Thunder Frosted, the portions were really, really moist. After finishing a can, you could still see all the condensation in the container.

Then came the shortage where it was out of stock for like 2 weeks. When I finally got those, I noticed they were noticeably drier. They were still decently moist, but not like the first ones I had.

Now I've opened a can on a new half-roll I just got. These things are bone dry. It looks like a can of Granit or something in there; that's how dry they are.

Has anyone else been noticing this? Or am I the unlucky recipient of some bad batches?

While we're asking questions here, the thunder frosted cans i got from getsnus were really really really moist and the experation date is 6.15.2010. Six months from exp. date and I got them last month, wtf did it JUST come out of the assembly line?

Also, my question is:
Did anyone else get the American/English writing on the can? My cans come with a Tax class M and Warning and such pre labeled with no sticker or anything. Also no ingredients on these cans and such.

I just received my first can of Thunder Frosted so I can't compare against "older" ones, however I would rank them to be around average moisture - not as moist as my first Thunder Original Portions (which were rather wet). The date on mine were 7-23-2010. I did note everything was in English (including "Manufactured in Denmark. Imported by Northerner..." ).

I am a little concerned with the lack of ingredients - it would be appears these cans were directly made for the US market and I wonder if their quality and what's in them likewise is suited for our standards (or lack thereof)...

I'm UK and my last two orders have been dry.
Frosted is much better moist as my first orders were - somehow they were stronger like that.

I too got the cans with the warning labels in english and no ingredient list. I noticed it before but never really though about it.

And I prefer them really moist myself. If they're gonna be this dry from now on, I don't think I'll actually order much anymore. My can is still good. Expires in march of 2010.

Just got mine yesterday and they are really moist. I think you must have just got a dudd can or something.

My roll of Thunder Frosted ordered in October from Sweden during the shortage was very moist, expired in March, and had Swedish warning labels.

My roll ordered last month from Getsnus has been hit-or-miss on moisture. I'm only on can 3, but 2/3 have been dry. They have American warning labels and expire in June.

Cure for the dryness? I just do what I do with my older snus and spritz some water, shake it up, and let it sit for a bit. It's probably all in my head, but it does taste better and has a better nic hit when moist rather than dry.

Every roll of TF Ive ever gotten have been very moist. Though, I like it, because I love my TF straight out of the freezer, and the moistness just adds to that ice cold "frosty-mint" feeling in your mouth. Anyone who has not tried TF portions right out of the freezer, I demand you do! :wink:
