Yes, Camel is different. So is Discreet. So is General mini Mint. But some people really like that sort of thing Quit with the Camel hating. It gets old after a while

I was unaware that sucralose (Splenda) had a specific odor until I spent a few desperate days using Camel Mellow.

Now I almost gag at the smell of anything sweetened with Splenda... took one whiff of an otherwise lovely sugar-free blueberry pie and almost hurled a couple of weeks ago.

So yeah, there's several reasons I didn't care much for the Camel in the orange tin.

Too sweet (I'm a weirdo who shuns most desserts)
Too Splenda-y (Also a weirdo here, Splenda takes too similar to sugar for my liking but I enjoy some other artificial sweeteners)
Pathetic nicotine hit
Endless aftertaste... I could taste Splenda the next morning if I'd had a portion a few hours before bed.

The flavor itself, if it was perhaps 10% as sweet and wasn't so.. Splenda-y.. could have been alright. Kind of peachy. Portion size/shape and the tin were both awesome.

But I'm in it for the nicotine and flavor, of which Camel provided neither to my liking.

imo the shining miniseries was sooo much better than kubricks movie. sooooo much better. and i think stephen king would agree with me. it actually had the topiary scene from the book. the hedge maze thing wasnt in the book. i mean jack nicholson kicks ass obviously, but i liked the dude from wings too. im a fan of miniseries in general. theyre more fleshed out stories. and shelly duvall or whatevers face is gross.

Camel Mellow will always have a place in my heart as "the snus they have at the gas station so if we get in a war with Sweden at least I can keep snusing".
