Gotlandssnus portions

I just noticed my Gotlands portions were packed to the brim with tobacco, whereas my Grovsnus svart and General usually have around 3/4 full with a space always in the portion. The Grovsnus was the worst being sometimes just half full.

It seems like Gotlands is dedicated to giving us our moneys worth, whereas Swedish Match wants to maximize profits. More power to Gotlands I say.

I'm a huge fan of Gotland snus. Their snus has a bitterness some people don't like, but I really enjoy it. The flavors all seem very natural also, and the snus comes off as being craft made(although I doubt it is).

As a bonus for lös users, their lös tins still come with 50g of snus. I think they're the last company to pack the full weight in their tins. All the others went to 45g tins.

I'm pretty sure the amount of tobacco per portion is the same or very, very close between Gotland and other brands. It's more of a difference in the size of the pouch.

Personally, while I love the flavor of Gotlands, the overstuffed portions are quite uncomfortable for me. Less full portions are easier to mold and reshape to fit my mouth -- something I can't do with Gotlands.

the only gotland portions ive had are the jakobssons ones. as far as the actual gotland portions go, i have zero interest. gotland los is my bag, same with phantom. no interest in the portions when the los is so superb.

I thought the green was okay, but it does have a bittery aspect.

I quite like the Gotlands portions, and do find them "moldable". They become a little more compact when wet. There can be no doubt, though, that the lös is where it's at with Gots. Still, the Jakonbsson's Classic portions are jolly good.

I like the green and the Julesnus. It gets too bitter for me to use them in succession but I like the feel of the portion better than most other portions. That might be due to the portion material itself. Some portion snus have a terrible interface system.
