I agree the whites take a toll on the 'ol upper lip and gums. But bottom decking it creates too much juice for my taste, sometimes feels like I might as well be dippin.

Red, your upper gums will toughen up over time.
When I first started with snus, my upper gums would get sensitive and
I'd move the portion around a lot, side to side and down to the lower deck.
After a few months, my upper gums got used to it.
Now I lower deck infrequently, mainly as the portion dies, to extract
some last vestige of flavor.

i like to bottom deck ridiculous amounts of los in the shower, cause its the only time i can get a nic buzz really. and a buzz in the shower rules.

Some of the SM whites can be like little bricks. Try flattening them out with your fingers first.
