    General Portion - Different Material?

On my last GetSnus order, I received a trial pack of General assorted flavors.

These are in foil packs similar to Discreet but are not re-sealable.

Anyway the portion material in these is buttery smooth / very soft.

Are they using a different material for these trial packs?

Anyone else noticed that, or have I been using too much dried out Skruf?

Have had some of these, and I think it's just the foil packets keeping the snus in tip-top condition. It may be the factory pays special attention to these, but I kind of doubt it.

Someone, I believe possibly Karanya, mentioned that theirs were dripping wet from the foil pouches. I didn't have that experience. They didn't seem all that different from portions from the can to me.

I noticed this when I had my first General Wintergreen a couple weeks ago. Definitely a different material. I found myself fluffing each portion for quite a while because of that awesome feel. But the other Generals I had afterward were in "original" pouches. I dunno.

EDIT: I'm talking about regular cans, not trial packs. Hopefully they're switching over to the new material.

The Wintergreens feel soft because of the mint oil added to those. That has been what most people have said anyway. The oil softens up the material. A few have even said those have ripped open on them because of it.

Thinking about it now they were wintergreen that were very smooth - I've had other wintergreen ones that broke / ripped, and were quite rough, but these don't break just stayed soft and smooth...

I have a General White portion out of a trial pack in now, verrry buttery and soft. I also have a can of general dry mini mint and it is the same material. So I am not sure how there is a difference??

All in all good material IMO
