I have read that quite a few people dislike Discreet. Most of what I see is somewhere along the lines of "overpowering tobacco that cancels out the actual flavoring." Meh, to each his own :-/

I don't care for flavored snus. But I do like sweet flavored scotch snuff to dip. I don't like minis either. But the Discreets I had, they had a strong sweet flavor, and no tobacco taste that I could tell.

Discreet snus is indeed sweet. And people's opinions on sweet snus seem to be very polarized. Me, I like both sweet flavored snus, and classic tobacco flavored snus.

I got some courtesy of daruckis, but I've only used 1 portion so far. There's nothing wrong with the flavor, it tastes quite good. It just isn't what I look for in a tobacco product though.

It's not what i look for in a day-to-day tobacco product. I would probably have to go a month with no tobacco at all just to feel the nic hit from discreet. But the flavor is good, they make a decent breath mint, and their flavor combines well with other snus. Personally I like to put a discreet portion on top of another regular portion, then put it in my lip. It may be blasphemy to alter the taste of general onyx, but a discreet peach on top really compliments the flavor, and adds a bit of sweetness.

I guess one reason I don't care for flavored snus, is I usually snus with coffee or cola, and I find a seasoned non flavored tobacco goes well with both. I just don't think wintergreen or strawberry would go good with coffee or cola.

Suggestion: try a can of Thunder Berry. That is a mix between different berries with strawberry as one of them…
