Hey guys hope everyone's doing well tonight. I'm pretty active on some smoking forums (I don't discriminate on my love of tobacco) but I'm trying to transition my interests away from smoking. I'm a former smoker but still very much into cigarettes as an interest. Anyway the smoking forums are active, with many posts a day, back and forth commenting. I remembered this site from years ago and just found it again but see the forums are mostly dead. Is there any other place you all would recommend where a person could engage with other users about their love of snus? I'm a pretty heavy user I think. I have a snus in from the moment I wake up until I lay down in bed at night. Go through around 15 or so a day. It's a hobby I enjoy and don't mind the addicting aspects of it. Like I said, I'd just like to find a place like my smoking forum but for smokeless users.

You found it here! Tho the forum is kinda quiet there are many long time members that check in everyday. Engage as you wish dear, we are here......Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......
I've been wrong lots of times. Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

Welcome, and yes, not a whole lot of activity, but it's great for reference and opinions on all the different types out there. Got a new shipment coming in a few days; some General, Macmyra, Prima Fint, Roda Lacket , and Kronan. 20 cans total, all loose. I keep them in the fridge. Hate to get too many at one time. Don't want them to get too dusty before I use them. I also like to vary what I'm using throughout the day, and you can do that with snus (and I used Cope for years exclusively - tried it again recently. Was the first can of Cope I ever tossed out). Swedish snus has lots of variety. Just wish there were more different types of Loose.
Anyway, welcome again. And hope this site keeps going!

I do bulk orders myself. Just got one in last week. My daily driver is Puck Spearment so I usually order 3 rolls of that, but I always throw in a mixture of others to try and who knows maybe one day I'll have a new favorite. I used to LOVE Inslay whiskey I think it was called. The flavor was amazing but it dripped so heavy my top teeth always looked like I had been chewing on dirt.2 Photos

Bulk is the only way to go - just keep it in the fridge (for loose) or freezer (for portion). I found that freezing loose tends to get a little too moist, even if I move it from the freezer to the fridge first. Portion seems to be okay to freeze, though. Got a few General Harvest in there. Special occasions only. Kinda hoping Santa will get me a small fridge for my home office for Christmas. I've been good all year.... kinda.Last edited by Ray; 21-09-22, 03:59 AM.

I was honestly just thinking about getting a mini fridge for my home office for the same reason. I use portions myself but honestly I've left them out for months at a time before and not noticed any problems. But I'd love to have a little fridge with my collection. I could cover it in the warning stickers they plaster all over the cans. Currently the underside of my desk is covered in them.1 Photo

Somewhere in this forum someone had the excellent idea of compressing Loose snus with the bottom of a shot glass. I thank you from the bottom of my snus can. I just can't handle portions (and I've tried). I just can't beat the texture, building a prilla (or using an Ice tool or Pris Master), controlling the occasional mudslide, etc. Loose snus is an art, and I like to take my time with it.
....But I digress. Mushing the snus down not only makes it easier to manage, but keeps it fresher longer. I usually keep two cans going, the rest are in the fridge. Currently have Prima Fint and MacMyra out and open. They really don't last more than a a week, but still, they stay a whole lot fresher.
So again, many thanks for the good tip.
