So I’ve been eyeing the leatherface slim cans.

I have a silver slim can that I have beaten to heck, but with my less destructive job now a days, I’m looking to bring some class to my carry can, but I am aware that I am brutal on stuff. I’ve destroyed two (count them, two) Thin King wallets over the years (which are the dogs bal…I mean bees knees).

Anyone have one of these and can give some feedback on how bullet proof the leatherface tins are? I’m also eyeing the red one, so how does the color hold up on them? I can always get another silver one because I am dangerous to my pocket items (ask my phone).

So, what do y’all have for opinions/experience?

Ha! I have a silver one new in box and have never used it, its just too pretty. That said It is for sale as well as my new in box silver Ice Tool if anyone is interested give me a shout. They will be reasonably priced.

I would think the red or other colored cans the finish would scratch and or wear off pretty quickly if you are a bit hard on them. I'd say stick with the silver can. Maybe get a pretty new one for special occasions.

that’s what I was thinking, but I want to know how that leather holds up. There’s a distressed leather one on one of the websites and it has caught my eye. It’s already distressed, then how bad can I mess it up? I’m just concerned about the rest of the can because I think it’s a black can. And my silver one is ready to be retired or relegated to beach duty

I bit the bullet and pulled the trigger on a tri can to use for los. The insert comes out, and I know I can cram a tin of los in a slim can…and the tri can is slightly larger so it should give me room to grab a pinch. I’ll post pictures when it’s here and full of los.
