Not saying at all mind you that this comparison is in any way accurate, especially since I know zip about the production of snus, but from hearing reviews of both, they appear to be close in description.
The process could hurt the flavor, I don't know, this is the first dry I have ever tried.

Well the Super Dry pouches after 4 days do have more of a tobacco flavor, but it is still mild. I think I used a little too much liquid, as they were a little wet, and did not last as long as I would like. I think I might need to go below the low end of what they say for moisture on them. They still seem a little light on the amount of tobacco in them, I like a little fuller pouch than the Fat Boy (I don't know why they call them that as they are not fat). If I were to order any more, I would get the Buster as it is the same size pouch but with 20% more tobacco.

Well I decided with the Snus shipping problems I would go ahead and order more while I still can, so I ordered a couple of bags of Buster Super Dry. I won't get it until the first of March, but it is just a stock order just in case.

Been playing around with the size of the Fat Boy Super Dry. Made the pouch smaller using a heat sealer. Trying slim and shorter, I just don't like a pouch that is not full. I have them rehydrating and will test them next week to see how they feel in the lip.

Super cool. So filt snus paper and heat sealer, eh? Hmmm. Was wondering how folks sealed up stuff from Snusroom. Anyhow, makes perfect sense for snus people to be used to nothing less than a mostly full snus pouch. Appreciate the review and your thread, you saved possible future headaches ordering stuff I would not most likely prefer either and would for sure go Buster route as well.

Did not use the snus paper, just shook down the tobacco and sealed the pouch smaller so there was not wasted space. I don't know about the Buster, but will let everyone know when I get the ones I ordered yesterday. I just don't like loose pouches in my lip, does not FEEL right, which is why I am trying to make the pouch smaller. Have not tried them yet, but I am sure I will like them better.

If anyone is interested, this is the heat sealer I am using.

I got mine years ago and it still works, uses 2 AA batteries. There are others out there, but this is what I have.

The Super Dry pouches will work, just dialing in the flavor is taking some time. So far only one flavoring, Lotta Latte from onestopdiyshop.com, flavors a pouch I like, the others are OK but not great. I am still working on trying different ones. I have found less moisture than they recommend works better for me, I don't like a wet pouches. Lots of experiments going, but having to wait 4 days on each to try, so it is taking some time on each test. Anyone who have ever flavored Snus who has some flavor recipes they want to share would be helpful.
