    Postnord Shipping

I see some sites are shipping Postnord instead of UPS, has anyone recently ordered Snus and had it shipped Postnord? Not sure about it as the final delevery would be from USPS, which does not allow tobacco to be shipped. Thoughts?

Well seems no one has had an order shipped Postnord from Sweden, so I guess I'll be the Guinea pig. I ordered 3 rolls of nicotine pouches (they are out of all the Snus I want) to see, 1) does it make it to me and 2) how long does it take. I am guessing from what I read it will be 3 to 4 weeks unless it get held up at customs. I have over 1 1/2 years worth of snus in the freezer and will just use the pouches as fill-in to make the snus last longer. Hopefully by that time something will be worked out and we can order snus from overseas again.

The Swedes don't think too highly of Postnord from what I've see and then you got Customs and USPS. Good luck to your box of snus dancing through the minefield to you.

I used postnord shipping a couple of years back with shipping to the UK. I had dozens of packages without issue. however that is not the case anymore the last 2 packages via port nord to the UK ended up in the HMRC customs and they charged excessive import duty.

I think it really depends on how the vendor labels the package. If they're discreet, it might slip through USPS without a problem. But if it's clearly marked as containing tobacco, you might run into issues with USPS seizing it.

I ordered 3 rolls from SwedushProducts, and they use PostNord. It's about the only place left that'll ship to the US. Ordered on the 19th of Feb and it's currently at the Des Moines distro center. Got there yesterday. I'm in Cedar Rapids so I should see it in a day or two (???). Haven't heard anything about customs fees yet. Keep you posted.

Snus arrived today. Was pretty painless, actually easier than previous orders. I'm good for a few months now, but I'll use Swedish Products again. At least till things get back to normal (fat chance).

The Postnord order from snus24 that came USPS did not need a signature, they just left it at the door, they did not even ring the doorbell. It was marked (in VERY small print) smokeless tobacco on the label. It took a week and a half for delivery.

Mine didn't need a signature either. Package was marked as non-tobacco, maybe because one roll was General voyage Brooklyn, which is a non-tobacco white portion (not too bad, either). The other two rolls were Granit and Ettan. I'm good for a while, but I might give Swedish Products another try in a month or so. No more UPS. It's PostNord to USPS. Don't really care how long it takes as long as it gets here.
