I was willing to go the extra mile and pay a lot extra for a special sweet arse box with some awesome sweet silk packed snus inside...but no...it had to be a cruel joke that got my berries all twisted in my britches...so cruel....

I got really excited. I was hoping it was a real thing. I read the article about it, heard it was called "Silver and Black", emailed V2 and got a response that sounded like it MIGHT be a new product, then found out what it really was. I was really bummed. I was hoping for a Kardus-esque release from V2.

That's exactly what I was hoping for...like a Thunder Black, or go a different route and call it Bronze or Gold or some metallic junk....anyways, thats what I thought, and I got completely stoked for a special V2 box to store snus in....

Yes it was. For those of you who didn't pick up on it, I do apologize. It certainly wasn't meant to be "cruel".

With almost 200 different Swedish Snus offerings already available, I used the Thunder UNZ cans I had received to write a light-hearted parody for those of us "veterans" who fixate on new releases; especially limited editions.

Those who got the joke enjoyed it. For those who didn't, especially new snusers, I'm sorry to have disappointed you. I too look forward to a new release of a snus; especially Thunder. Maybe too much, which is why I wrote the Thunder UNZ article. I was poking a little fun at myself.

In hindsight, I do admit creating a product listing on the store site was probably going too far. For customers who had not read the article on .org, I can understand the frustration.

In light of this new confusion and disappointment that Thunder UNZ wasn't going to be available for mass sale (at least at this time), I did take it down last night.

My warmest wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a great 2010 to you all. Enjoy your snus!

That's the great thing about real snus and the people who use it. We're not a bunch of stick-up-the-ass elitists lacking a sense of humor; even when it is self-deprecating.

Swedish/Scandinavian snus is more than a product to us; it's a lifestyle....a very enjoyable, friendly, and a heck of a lot healthier lifestyle then we had as smokers.
