    Regular vs White Portions?

Can someone please educate me? Is there any difference, other than color, between regular and white portions?

    TIA

Regular-style portions are sprayed with juice, tobacco juice or snus juice basically, so they are moister and give flavor sooner. White portions are made by a slightly different process, and don't get the spraying. They are drier and the flavor lasts somewhat longer. It can take a little longer to get flavor from a white portion. Some ppl find white portions a little rougher on the gums. Some ppl strongly prefer them, others prefer OP (original portions). I like them both, though I guess at this time I slightly prefer OPs, although it depends on the snus.

Röda Lacket is one portion where I don't mind a white at all (and it's a good thing, since there are no RL OPs to be found). Somehow white just seems right for RL.

OTly, I'm dying to open a can of RL lös, but I have twelve different cans of lös in the fridge now, and I'm not letting myself open any more. Have a Gots Gul and a Kronan on their last legs, plus the LD is getting pretty low, so maybe before the end of the year I will open another RL, and another General.

I like white portions best because they really feel like they're doing something. I like most original portions just fine, but they kind of just sit in my lip, like placeholders between whites. But original portions run way too fast for me. I have to spit them out frequently because I start swallowing juice and get heartburn burps.

I cracked a can of Thunder Frosted today and it sort of has the lip feel of a white portion. A nice surprise.

I prefer whites, but will use both. It it comes in a white though, that's the kind I get.

I prefer regulars when they are fresh. Whites seem to hold up longer for longer storage. I like Onyx, General Sterk alot, and really, I like them all, but I prefer fresh regulars, General, N&J.

I've been snussin' for about 3 months now and I started with white portions. I was keeping them in for so long that they irritated my gums too much.

Since about a month ago I've found that I prefer regular portions. That juicy salty drip mixed with the instant gratification seals the deal for me.

If I want a slow build I go for los tightly packed using an icetool.

I prefer whites. I started w/ OP's when I converted from dip for obvious reasons and had I went straight to whites I probably wouldn't be snusing now. It was a progression for me and one that lead to a longer snusing session each time.

It wasn't until recently I got back into sterks which are all regular portions with the exception of the blacks. I think those are nearly as dry as the whites because it takes as long for them to get properly fired up.

I think I like all snus though so long as it's not minty or anything like that.

General Sterk is a white, and Skruf Stark comes in a white too.
