I recently rehydrated mine just with a spray bottle (laid them out on paper towel and sprayed them). Worked great (a little too wet actually but I will use less next time). I will have to try this method as well.

wow this is a great idea! I'm going to use an old general lid I have and stick it on my out of the fridge can for when I go to work! I'll let everyone know how it goes! also i mainly use white portions so i wonder if this method will make them kind of an mix between white and regular portions? i guess we will see!

I've heard Rambler's method is working great for those stuck in Afghanistan.

Just put one of these cool snus humidors on a can of almost dried out general wintergreen. We'll see how it looks in the morning!

It usually doesn't work that fast, I have done Rambler's humidor method several times and can take up to two days or longer...YMMV ... The longer the more moist the snus becomes... This method is better to keep the snus hydrated rather than to be used to hydrate, But does work.

A fine mist spray from a small spray bottle will work over night though.... I take the portions out of the can spread them out on a paper towel and spray a fine light mist of distilled water over them and put them back in the can and are good the next day.... I have even just fine mist sprayed the portions while they were in the can closed the lid, shake and let sit overnight and has worked...

A friend of mine keeps a small piece of orange peel in his rolling tobacco to stop it drying out. I've been wondering if that would work for snus too. Next time I have hydration issues, I'll try it and report back.

There was another thread on hydrating snus.. can't find it now...

The best method is to keep a small piece of apple inside the can or simply spray some water in the can and mix the snus a little.....

I'd go with the apple (keeps longer)

This. I prefer to let it rest in the fridge overnight if possible.
