    4 knotch Roda Lacket

So I'm sitting here because I recently migrated back to snus, so I did the obvious. I tried every single other brand this past week other than my prior favorite....

See, I went the e-cig route. For almost six months. And in the end, the e-juice I found most perfect was the Double Flavor Dunhill from My Freedom Smokes. And guess what I figured out after less than a week of sampling every single los variety all over again:

My favorite "los" from before is still my favorite los. And according to the current "top ten los" on Northerner.com, there's a damn good reason. The "double flavor dunhill e-juice" from MyFreedomSmokes was the closest tasting vaping alternative to good ole Roda Lacket los.

Roda Lacket los is by far the most incredible los snus experience that I think is possible. While Ettan wins insanely high marks for the lack of lemon and other fail that general injects into that mix, nothing on this earth will appeal to the ex-smoker or the ex-vapor like a 3ml icetool at 4 knotches packed full of Roda Lacket love.

And I'm sorry. At this time there is no portion offering that touches this win. If somebody at Swedish Match were to wake up, embrace the American market (understanding how small that market is *cough*) and offered a product in a long cut that was a Roda, or a Nick, or a General Sterk, that had the Roda Lacket taste in a high nic longcut, you'd capture a market.

We are pretty great consumers us Americans. Give us something we can love.

    Hope This Helps

I've been getting extra insight into Röda lately. Previously I never got the prune flavors people talk about, and I considered it a more finely ground Ettan for all intensive porpoises. I recently opened a tin, and there it was, prunes... I don't know if it's variability from the factory, or if my tastes are changing, but in any case, it's pretty good. I still like Ettan/Grov better, but I could see picking up some more Röda in the future,

I tend to be a more eclectic mutt than a one snus dog but Roda is definitely high on my list- along with Skruf, Grov, and Phantom Blue.

And I could not agree more about a longer cut Roda and even a longer cut Prima (which to me is simply Roda plain- same base tobacco).

Have you seen the Roda tobacco bits that SM makes. They sell them.... but only to people named Eddie who live in a hut on a beach somewhere under a full moon. Go figure :?

I'd love to try the tobacco cuts. That seems like a natural for Northerner to carry. I wonder if SM refuses to sell to them :^/

The tobacco cut product is a very small scale test product that is produced in extremely small volumes. It is not availible in the supply chain today. If this product is evaluated to have a market potential we might be able to make it availible online but at the moment we unfortunatly can't make that happen.

Neither of us have actually tried it our selves but from what we have been told it is the same product as Piccanell though it comes in larger bits.

When we know more about were this project is heading we will write it here ASAP.

My market suggestions all seem to suffer the same inevitable demise.

Those would be great to try as well as a future longcut anything from Match.

There was also talk awhile back about a General Sterk Mini which I am still waiting on.

TW great minds think alike. The same must be true for lesser minds like ours.

So far my suggestions to SM have been

              1. A snus made by Swedish purity standards that tastes like Copenhagen

              2. Stark Minis

              3. Make Roda and General Tobacco bits available

Result: flame and burn across the board

But since I’m here to help and am of a generous disposition, I will offer my services to you and the greater snuson community. Here is how:

If you have an idea that you think is fabulous, you know it is a dead ringer for the USA market, run it past me first. If I think it is fantastic, if I’m certain that it is a winner, if I’m excited just to hear about it…..

Then you know it is an utterly dumb ass idea that will never be given the time of day.

Call it the time saving dog litmus test. So far we boast a 100% accuracy rating.

I think you should quit your current job and become a New Product and Development head honcho at Match.

Your ideas are all great and definately would be a hit in the USA.

My idea was a longcut General and General Wintergreen. You could also make a Sterk but these are all really bad ideas and I am sure nobody would ever use them.

Since I've been dipping lately, I'd be interested to try a long cut Ettan, or Thunder original, or similar.

TW, the long cut is a GREAT idea. I think both the Wintergreen and the Straight would be a huge success here in the USA. I always have. I mean it's obvious based on what IS selling NOW. Therefore....
