The oldest snus you've ever snused?

Never seen this topic before, so I thought I'd try it out.
I just decided I needed an extra sterk after a couple months without one. Can expired in August.
So whats the oldest snus you've ever snused? I have a feeling this will apply largely to those like me who take a while to kill a can, and even longer if its extra sterk or just something we don't like. I guess if it was frozen before then you can count it, but really stuff that's just been hiding in the back of your fridge for god knows how long would be the most interesting. :wink:

I have used snus that was at least 2 years old before. A can of Offroad something that I had just buried in the freezer and never really wanted. It was fine. Well other than being Offroad and sucking because it was Offroad. But not at all because it was 2 years old.

My very first order from Northerner was in July 2007. I never followed through and the snus remained buried in the crisper in the bottom of the refrigerator.

In October 2008 I had some dental work done and got some new dentures. Nov 2008 I started using snus again and while waiting for my first GetSnus order to arrive I set out to use the snus that had been in my refrigerator for the last 16 months.

I have no idea what the expiration dates where, but I assure you they were way past the best by date. :roll:

I've had an open can of General OP in my car for months (3... 4 maybe) that I had a portion from a couple days ago. It was a little dry, but there weren't festering bubbles of mold on it, or anything. It tasted fine after softening up a bit.

I regularly use snus that's 2+ years old. It isn't quite as good as fresh, but still pretty good.

I would think that if the snus drys out and is refrigerated it'll last damn near forever. Considering the salt in it as well, I doubt it could ever really turn bad.
I wet my Extra Sterk portion under some tap water for a couple seconds to soften it up. Tasted like good ol' General ES. Can't complain about that.
