New here... and to snus! Started on the Camel stuff, liked it... did some research and ran across this place. Ended up ordering a few cans from getsnus.com to see what all the rave was about. I just got my first batch of swedish stuff today (General Wintergreen White, General Mini Mint, Thunder Frosted Mini, and Catch Eucalyptus).

Anyway, so far I'm not really digging the General Wintergreen, kind of nasty taste. It's the only one I have tried other than Camel Wintergreen, Mint, and Marlboro spearmint.

I really like the minty flavor of the Marlboro Spearmint and was hoping somebody could recommend something with a similar spearmint flavor.

      Thanks!
      Welcome to Snuson

I would stick with the Marlboro and Camel if you like those. All Swedish Snus has that weird flavor because it is more true to tobacco with subtle flavoring.
Swedish snus is not for everybody and it took about a week for myself to get adjusted but I did come from using Redman and hawken chew as kid so I had a little idea of what I was getting into.

It kinda goes like this. First you start with Baileys, then a wine cooler, then a beer and before you realize it you are drinking whiskey shots.

Thanks for the welcome, and suggestions everybody. I have a few new things to try now =)

As far as your comment truth, I don't want to stick with Camel because its too sweet to consistently use. I don't want to stick with Marlboro because the 6 packs are ridiculous and its weak as hell.

Anyway, I tried the Thunder Frosted Mini today... which is like double barreling the Marlboro as far as nicotine content and it was pretty good IMO. I did not have a drip, lasted decently, and the nicotine content was perfect for my tastes.

If you decide to try out the Discreet, do yourself a favor and order the "Sampler" pack of it from Getsnus. That way you can try all the flavors (mmmm Peach). As others have said, they are a bit sweet, but not in an overly sugary kind of way like camel is. Their sweetness feels more natural.

If you're in Ohio or Georgia, I'd highly recommend Triumph Mint. The portions are one gram each and deliver a smooth, non-sweet mint flavor.
