Rhubarb pie is good but is has to be like 90% sugar because I once bit into a stalk of rhubarb and its one of the most sour things I have ever tasted.

Also, mini's for me are more discreet then OPs and work well in many situations were you don't want people making a double take at your upper lip.

I like strong minis (rarely, when it comes to minis) but I may order this because I LOVE rhubarb.

Well... after a few trips to supermarkets, I couldent locate anything in the bakery section that had rhubarb in it.. Either its not in season or just not made here. Regardless, Im going to order a few cans of this Catch even though I dont really use mini's.

Generally here in the states the rhubarb season is April to September.

It's a slightly sour fruity taste, kind of like a tart raspberry I guess. I am not the best at describing plant tastes though it is something I hope to work on.

I saw online that Rhubarb is being sold now, so I thought I'd share my opinions of it.

The name of this first release of the 2010 Collection is "Mellow". The flavor is just that, a very mellow experience.

But before I get too far into that, for those not familiar with rubarb, here's a little info. A rubarb is a plant with a very tart, but sweet, flavor. It is often used in pies, jams, and sometimes wine. When I opened the can, I immediately detected the smell of rhubarb. It's dead on. I picked up the slightly tart but sweet tones of the aroma immediately coming from the can upon opening it. It's very...well, mellow! The flavor is sweet, but tart. It's not overly sweet, and it's perfectly balanced with the mild tobacco flavor in the background and a very gentle salt balance. To say it simply, it tastes like rhubarb. The flavor lasts long, and grows more mellow and balanced the longer you have the portion in, and provides a very nice experience. One of the things I like about the Catch Collection is that the flavors hit so close to the mark, sometimes dead on with the flavors that are added to the tobacco to provide these limited edition snuses their characteristic flavor notes.

This definitely looks like its worth a try. I remember as a kid my dad would take us way way out into the country to this small place just for their homemade rhubarb pie. Really good unique flavor.

So does Catch use real or artificial flavors in their snus? Had no idea there even was an artificial rhubarb flavor out there...
