How much do you spend per month on snus?

I tend to spend more money on snus now than I did a few years back because I know what I like so I really stock up.

You know I just roughly tallied up my snus expenses in the last six months and its just a little over a $1000.00!!!

Thats got to be at least 300 cans. Where do you put them all?

Hard to say since I buy snus so infrequently, but I'd estimate around $20 per month.

I chain snus los and I would say my expense is about the same. I think it came to about $22 per month the last time I figured it.

I use mini's a lot which are a rip because they only give you 20 portions but I figure that my snus habit runs about 30 to 60 a month which is a small fraction of what it costs to smoke a pack of cigs a day.

OK I think we need some clarification here. Are we asking how much you spend on snus a month or how much does what you actually use a month cost you?

Ordering 50,000 cans of things you've never tried and stock piling rolls in case the world ends is very different than how much what you actually use a month runs.

I snus every waking moment of the day. I find it hard to believe that half the snuson population uses 5 times more snus than I do.

So which is it:

You gotta remember too, that many people here use portions, and don't keep them in so long. Compared to lös you get half as many portions per tin, and it costs more on top of it.

Up until a couple months ago, I used about 14 portions a day. So 14 * 30 days = 420 portions a month divided by 24 = 17.5 cans a month. Multiply by average cost of $3.75 a can = $65 a month. So my first answer of $125 every two months was actually a little low. Now using about 9 portions a day which equals 11.25 cans a month = $42 a moth or $84 every two months. Again, my answer of $80 every two months was a tiny bit low.

Good grief! I had no idea. I mean I buy an occasional tin or two of portions but I had no idea the price difference was that great. That's over $40 a month difference. I'm...I'm...stunned. :shock:

I've only been snusing for about 3 Months now, so it's hard for me to say exactly, but I estimate about 5 cans per week, so 20 per month. Average cost for me is about 4.-€ per can, so about 80.-€ per month. May seem like a lot, but let's not forget that I used to smoke one and a half pack a day and a pack sells for 4.-€ too, so I was buying 45 packs a month for 180.-€. Saving a net 100.-€ per month on top of reducing my health risks is a nice bonus.

I don't know what I "spend" as I have accumulated a stockpile from some purchases and trades, but if I use 6 portions a day, which usually is 4 now, say a can lasts 6 days, so we'll say that's a week, 4 weeks a month, so, about $15 a month roughly it would add up. Though I've been using dip too, and dip is more expensive and doesn't last as long. I only dip in the evenings, and I had some this morning, but like that, I can use about 2 cans a week.
