I think this is a good thing. Rather than fool around with stuff like Viagra, those in need can just rub snus on their--places they want to be hard.

Ok guys I thought I'd update this thread cause its been a little over a week since I was experiencing my hardness. Now it has gone away but I'm actually having a different thing happen to my gums. It seems the area that I keep a portion in for extended amounts of time will feel slightly numb after removing it.... randomly throughout the day.

This numbness occurs when I don't have a portion in, is that just a side effect from the salt and nicotine? Sigh why can't my gums just behave normally :?

I think it's the salt. I get that from snus as well as sunflower seeds.

Had this problem about the first 3 weeks I started snus'n. Most notably with starks and ES's. Kinda thought it was the nicotine via a new portion of my gums (upper lip) as opposed to my former dipping days, however yet the salt theory makes sense to.

PS: Sorry to hear your hardness has gone away. Can't really help ya with that one.

Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to hide the bodies of the people I killed because they were annoying......

I've been wrong lots of times.  Lots of times I've thought I was wrong only to find out that I was right in the beginning.

                  Discreet

I started having all sorts of interesting problems, so I stopped using any of the Discreet and haven't had a problem since. After trying Grand Prix, Nordic Ice, and Discreet I will only use real Swedish snus now. I don't know what the difference is but there is a difference.

Maybe you have a sensitivity to saccharin.

I am pretty sure that was part of my issues with the above mentioned. They leave that funny aftertaste like a diet soda and I can't stand that.
